    I contracted with Sunset Lifts on June 27th to provide a wheelchair lift for my 77 year old disabled veteran father. ***** at Sunset Lifts took a 50% deposit of $12,720 at that time to order the lift and the remaining 50% is due on installation. We were told that the lift would be complete and ready for installation in September. I have sent multiple emails and texts looking for follow up and delivery confirmation with no response. I have attempted to call multiple time and no one answers at the business and the mailbox is full. When it became clear that Sunset was not going to reply/respond I contacted the lift manufacturer of the lift who informed me that the lift has not even been ordered and that they have multiple consumers reporting the same issue that deposits were taken and then ***** and Sunset disappear. Anything you can do to help is very much appreciated as this is a terrible situation for my father as we desperately need this lift.

    May 22,2023 gave Sunset Lifts, LLC $5750.00 to install a lift for us at . The agreement was for the lift to be installed in 4-6 weeks. Check was received and cashed our check on May 22, 2023. It is now September.He not returned phone calls, messages, or emails. Has not installed the lift, nor has he brought the lift to us.From what I can see on the county website, permit applications have NOT even been submitted, even after I supplied all necessary documents he said he needed to do so.Preliminary work for the lift has not been done. We do not have the concrete foundation or the electrical work done which is required before the install. www.sunsetlifts.com He has only given is one excuse after another. He has blocked both mine and my husbands numbers. I am disabled. I just want a refund for the lift I paid for.
