I am filing a complaint regarding the Fords Fuel company. When I contracted with Fords in 2020, I was informed that I could lease a propane tank and pay all leasing costs up front. (Email attached) Therefore, I would not be billed for any leasing in the future, only gas refills.

Blossman acquired Fords last year, in 2021. On October 12, 2022, I received a bill from Blossman to pay a yearly leasing fee. (Invoice attached) I called Fords immediately and was informed that the yearly fee was Blossman policy. When I said I had paid for leasing up front, I was told that the original contract was no longer going to be observed. I said I had received no notice regarding this. I was informed that some information had been sent, but that the yearly fees were not well described. I registered a complaint that day but have had no response. This is unacceptable on multiple levels: breach of original contract, poor customer communications, and poor response to complaint.

Today, October 25, 2022, I paid the leasing fee. (Receipt attached) I did not want this payment to affect my credit score.

I do not believe I should have to pay this fee, nor any leasing fee in the future as that was not the agreement I entered into when I purchased their service.
