    I'm a traveling Performer, who's been playing nationally for over ten years. Saturday night, July 8th, ********************* in the ********* gorge with owner, *************************, decided he didn't want to pay what he had agreed previously to months before so he cancelled our show less than 24 hour beforehand.***** didn't do much in the way of promotion for us despite the fact that I'm up for 7 Independent Awards in Country Music currently, and he had plenty he could have promoted with! Last minute, he sent me an email and cancelled on us because he didn't want to take the risk he said of losing money. Instead he told us not to come though we were already in the *********** area, we were out $600, which makes or breaks a tour for an unsigned Artist like myself who isn't a big name. He did this all via email and then would not answer his phone or respond to my texts and emails and simply ghosted me. We had fans who drove up from Georgia three hours away, and he simply told them he wasn't going to honor his agreement. He made a big mistake doing this, but what kind of ethics does one have who did what ***** did to my band?Below, is what we agreed to in writing (which is legally binding) that ***** decided not to honor. I even let *********** know at ********* Village, but he would not pay the amount in full since he claimed that ********************* is autonomous and "up to ***** to run." In short, I lost $600 of my tour I routed, and it's a tough blow for someone like myself to incur being a small business owner! Please, don't patronize this guy's business.
