    A & D Landscaping was a direct vendor hired by the builder that built our recently purchased home to install the new landscaping and irrigation system.My wife and I closed on our home on 1/31/2023. We noticed shortly after moving in that 5 shrubs on the side of our home were dying, despite us watering them. I spoke with **** (owner) from A & D on March 31st and he said he would be swapping out 5 of our 6 shrubs due to them being dead. **** said they could have just been a bad batch but it would not be an issue for him to swap them. He was also going to bury two of our irrigation lines that we have asked him to bury since we originally moved in at the end of January since they are sitting above the mulch exposed and were not properly buried initially.**** stated that he would complete the work by the end of the week (April 7th). We tried calling him and texting him on Tuesday and Wednesday last week to confirm the date he would arrive since we heard rain was in the forecast for the end of last week. He did not answer our calls and my wife finally reached him later in the afternoon on Wednesday. **** assured my wife that rain or shine he would plant them on Saturday the 8th. My wife mentioned that it was supposed to rain that day but he said he had another appointment in our neighborhood and promised he would come regardless of the weather. This did not happen. Saturday evening on the 8th we tried to call and text him with no response. We continued trying to reach out to him Sunday the 9th and today, Monday the 10th. The phone rings once and then gets directed to a voicemail box that is not set up with an option to leave a message. It appears as if **** is screening calls and avoiding resolving our issue. We have still not heard from him after he missed the appointment to change the shrubs and bury the irrigation lines. This, along with unkept promises, seems very unprofessional and makes us question his business practices.
