I was previously seeing Aspen Dental at ********, ** my annual dental care. This was fully covered by my Medicare.Aspen Dental has previously sent me bills regarding charges for $232 despite my care being fully covered by ********. Each time that my niece and I reached out to them via phone and email, they reassured me that that is that what they see on their end. I received a mail from the *************************** (a debt collector0 regarding a debt of $232 owed to Aspen Dental as of Feburary 02, 2024. I am concerned that Aspen Dental is committing fraud and is ruining my credit with their false debt.Business Response

I went to Aspen Dental in Mt.Airy NC for dentures they set up an appointment for my evaluation quoted me the amount $8,861.00 with an insurance discount of $3,946.00 leaving my insurance paying $3,387.00 and had me to finance $1,528.00 in April 2024 they gave me a temporary set that broke they repaired that set and the lower broke again another trip an hour away they printed me a new lower which also broke and refused to repair it. They billed me another $600 dollars for two fillings which should have been in the plan since Im on a fixed income I havent paid the $600 but the dentures are paid in full but they wont release them until the separate $600 is paid they could have added to my financing of $5,000 limit but failed to now its to late its a past due balance the office staff was very rude to my wife when she called for the past week its been phone tag with the office manager they admit the dentures are paid in full but refuse to release them my insurance company has filed a grievance with them wish I had read the reviews for Aspen Dental in ********** I would have chose another provider. Rude scammers!Business Response

july 29 2024 aspen dental staff ask me if i wanted to see if i qualified for a care credit loan, [just qualify ] from ************** /care credit ***** to be used for my 720$ permanent set of dentures when delivered in February, 2025 . I did qualify , a week later the 720 $debt was submitted to synchrony for payment without my knowledge or consent and 25 days before i received the credit card [which i did not and have not activated] and or terms in the mail. terms i would not have used considering the high rate of interest compared to my fico score ,i informed aspen dental of their mistake and was told to take it up with care credit owned by ************** so i filed a fraud complaint with ************** , the info they gathered from aspen dental included a charge for 1999.00$ as proof of service ,that **** was paid in full by my united health care plan and had nothing to do with my final set of dentures. they used it to fraudulently claim a debt with synchrony who still claim i owe them 720$ in spite of my claim i have spoken to synchrony 5 x to 5 different people 4 of whom would do nothing more then read from a company dialogue over and over trying to explain what they could do ,in a fast accent i could barely understand . the last letter i received stated i still have a 720$ balance and will continue to receive statements as long as the balence remains . im getting nowhere ,aspen dental still has my lower parcel dentures already paid for by my united health care coverageBusiness Response

My issue is with Aspen dental for a service I was charged full price for and never received.Upon arrival I was told I had to pay in full out of pocket when I was in network and my insurance covered 80% of it. they charged me for gingivitis deep clean with a full scale along with double charging me for a prescription I never received, all they did was scrap some plaque I was in and out in less then 15 min. Not only did they never credit me or my account but they refused to answer my calls, emails, emails from other aspens, and my insurance after filing a complaint/appeal.I payed ****** out of pocket I have the receipt and bank statements as proof and they put in the claim that I only paid $119.00 out of pocket The date of service was 9-21-23 Now on 06-12-24 I'm getting a bill saying I owe $70.00 for that date of service Not only have they Ignored me as well as my insurance for 8 months and refused to refund me and fix the bill but now there saying I owe more money and cleared my claim. This has been a nightmare and I have spent countless hours writing complains, filling appeals, mailing in letters, calling Aspen and Aspens cooperate office along with there billing department only to be ignored or hung up on and told to call back because they have such high call volumes.Business Response
