    This started when we changed property manager. We was never informed management had changed until the day ******* knocked on my door about my rent being late, however my prior property manager had been working with me for months due to my husband being a very tragic accident which caused him to be out of work for 7/8 months. His situation left me the provider paying all the bills. My previous property manager **** was very understanding she worked with me during this unexpected incident. The new property manager ******* came knocking on my door 10/13/23 telling me they were taking papers out that following Monday 10/16/23, I told him I spoke to **** and she told me that it was fine I could pay my rent on the 19th. ******* was extremely rude, unprofessional and very unsympathetic at my time of need, he took evictions papers out on me anyways. I ended up paying my rent on the date I promised 10/19/23. ******* ended up leaving and now we have new property managers AGAIN less than 2 months. This company has had 3 different property managers in less than a year. I paid my rent in full December 2023 and January 2024. I go on the portal this month to pay my rent for February and the rent is over $600 more I reached out to my regional manager showing her the incorrect payments the portal show I owe. She told us to hold off on paying the rent until she fixed the issue. She emailed me this morning stating my payment was correct and that I had to pay fees from December and January because the portal was incorrect , she informed me if I didnt pay the rent by 2/8/24 there will be late fees add including the fees from December 23 and January 24. This is not fair to me or my family. I have all my receipts of paying my rent, trash, and ************* every month. Now since its new management she trying to add extras fees and payments to my portal. This company is getting over on a lot of their tenants adding extra fees and telling us we have to pay or feed would be added.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I have tried resolving the issue with the property manager, she is charging me for months I already paid my rent, I have the receipts. She gave me an late fee on 2/6 when she emailed me and other tenants stating she would hold off on late fee payments until 2/8 due to their error with the high water bill for this month February. She ended up sending me a late fee on 2/6, not only that she even charged me 2 late fees for the month of February. So now Im owed to pay fees from December and February when I already paid them. I even have all the emails or her stating they had an error and was holding off for us paying our rent. I been trying to pay my rent since February 1st but she kept telling me along with other residents to hold off until they fix the issue. I told her I didnt mind paying my rent and fees for February; however, Im not responsible for any fees for December 2023 or ******* 2024 when I already paid my rent and other fees that month. She giving me 10 days to pay the fees for December and ******* including the rent and fees for February. She didnt me anything time to even come up with the money she pinning on me for those months December 2023 and ******* 2024. Its not fair they can do this to me when I pay my rent every month in full. I even have my receipts for the payments. She threatening to take evictions papers out on me for these payments when Ive already paid my rent those month. How am I charged 2 late fee payments for this month? How was I charged on 2/6/24 but we had until 2/8/24 to pay without late fee added??? I have all this on email so I dont understand how this can even possible to their tenants. Im asking for help and I need it badly! Im a mother of 3 kids whom is trying to make ends meet. I struggle every day now Im being threatened to have evictions taken out on me for months I already paid. I told my property manager that I didnt mind paying the fee for this month but the next day she sent me the 10 days notice of eviction paper. She lied for once because they did not knock on my door a man in a blue van handed the paper in my daughter hand, on the paper it says she knocked on my door and no one open the door. That was a lie, I work from home Monday - Friday Im ALWAYS at home. This company is all around unprofessional, dishonest and taking money from their tenants then threatening them with evictions if we dont agree with their random fees they add on our portal. All these fees came up in February because when I paid my rent and fees for ******* I had none of these fees, she added this mess after I paid my rent and fees on ******* 5th. This company has not tried to resolve this issue.
