May 21, 2024. $3861.58. Proposal signed to install 200 feet of septic tail line for upper house. The work has not been done and contractor has refused to return my deposit after repeated phone calls. After onsite consultation with the ******************************************, they (together) decided the best solution was to install a distribution box and utilize the existing drain field. That work was completed on July 11 after repeated cancelled start dates. No bill has been provided. Work performed by two men, 3 hours, plus the distribution box and several pipe fittings.Last discussion with contractor was August 8.

Attached is an invoice for the work completed. This complaint makes absolutely no sense. The Scope of the repair changed from new tail lines to repairs listed after meeting with **************. This repair actually saved Them ********. All repairs were made and completed.

I am rejecting this response because: there was no previous d-box; there is no materials detail; the tank was pumped twice and the first one was paid for along with the proposal for a total pre-payment of *******; a d-box was installed but no line extension; and there was no seed or straw applied; previous proposal gave a military discount of 10%.  This invoice is undated.

We have thousands of satisfied customers. We evaluated his failing system with the environmental health department of *****************. He had effluent / wastewater running through his field and under the fence working its way back into the local water table before final treatment. New lines were thought to be needed by Jackson county. After a onsite visit which was expedited because wastewater on the surface. Me and my helper hand dug in his waste, to determine that the auto Valve was failing. The next proper step was to keep it pumped down to dry the area up so we could achieve the results we wanted to achieve with the repair. In which we did. I am not hearing any complaint of it not functioning. Just a complaint to get his repairs paid for. The original proposal was for ******** Assuming a new tail line would be needed. After our inspection the repairs changed. Repairs were achieved for ******** saving him ********. We got to him as quick as we could. We are considered essential and take our job very serious. We never missed a beat even through Covid. I will not pay for his repairs. We back up our work. Being in this business for ******************************************** to pay for there wastewater. If we knew what we know now we would not have even considered helping him. There is no way I would offer a military discount for someone trying to get something for nothing. I regret that he wasn't happy with the service provided but the problem was fixed and the community is safer for it.
