Salesman was totally dishonest. I told him -3- things were important to me:#1) Not in any hurry to have house painted #2) Wouldn't have the money to pay until mid-Jan #3) There is a very conservative Home *********** (HOA) + ************************** (ARB) that MUST approve any changes (e.g. color) to my home. // I said I will not sign the contract unless you abide by these -3- things. ******** promised he would so I signed.Long story short: #1) The painting crew was moved f/******* to **********, ** 01/12 .. & started work on my house. I was never given a color deck @ contract signing -&- when they showed up. At the end of day -1-, I was given the color deck & told I HAD to chose a color since they couldn't stop work on my home now that they've started.I chose a color that is in our community, although it was slightly different f/the original color of my home. I was contacted by the ********* saying I'd disregarded their rule so my home would have to be REpainted, w/a color they approved. // Let me be clear: Color choice was not the issue here. The fact that I'd not have ~1 week to submit the color to the ARC & have it approved is the issue.I'm thoroughly disgusted with Rhino-Shield. I tell everyone about RS throwing-me-under-the-bus so they could attach the cost of moving their crew into **. They purposely rushed to get my home painted so I'd pay them, without regard to the 3rd request I'd made to their salesman. I have owned many homes and am generally trusting of the vendors I hire. I clearly was way too trusting of Rhino-Shield.Their 20+ year one-time paint job was attractive to me, but now it has been painted over. I've paid to have my home painted *twice* within 6 months. I am thoroughly disgusted w/Rhino-Shield and have attempted to warn others not to use/trust them!
