    I received a **** Priority envelope from Tibco Software, **** in ***********, ** containing a "check" issued by Old ******************** in *********, **. with the name of *************************** as the person listed who sent it. After contacting the Old ******************** I found out the authorized signature on the "check" hadn't been employed there in over two years. A person who had contacted me (by email only) went by the name of ********************* and supposedly purchased a musical instrument from me in the amount of $1450.00 and this "check" was in the amount of $4500.00. The person called ********************* instructed me to cash the check and return the extra amount but never released a mailing address. Obviously this check was washed and of course I didn't follow through. I would hope you may be inclined to contact Tibco Software, **** in *********** and ask if a person by the name of *************************** was involved in this scam.
