I was contacted by this company in hopes of getting assurance of financial relief. I was asked to send money after giving them my information. I went online to see if this was a replicable company and I got juked.Business Response

***** ***** had went online and filled out a form providing her name and phone number to inquire more about her student loans. With the information that was submitted, we called her back and explained our services. My name is ******* ********, I am a Army Veteran of over 13 years, I have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, I now work as a nurse for the Department of Education, I am also a Deacon at my church, it sickens me that I risked my life in war for this country and have to come home to be scammed by a company such as this. I thought this company was legit so I called them and asked about their services, I was told that I would have to make four payments of $198 to have my loans consolidated and taken care of by this company, I was also told that I would have to recertify with them every years for the next ten years, what I was not told was that I would have to make these payments every years for the next ten years and that after those ten years are up that is when my loans would be taken care of. I would not have agreed to this if this was told to me up front, if that is the case I could make those payment myself directly to the loan company instead of paying Doans for the next ten years. I spoke with a manager for this company and just got the run around, they lied about returning phone calls I made to them, they don't reply to emails and when you do get to speak with someone the talk over you and don't really listen to what you have to say, I was told by this supervisor that there is no way for me to get a refund for the money I spent already so I just out of $795 for service I never received. I made payments on 7/16/2021, 9/24/2021,10/15/2021, and 11/19/2021. This company is a SCAM!! and they prey on any and everyone t doesn't matter to them, I know someone from this company will respond to this complaint with more lies and misinformation but what should I expect from this scam company.Business Response

Thank you for your inquiry. We had been in contact with you up through yesterday. A request was made to have you submit the PSLF form, however, you sent over a blank template. We have attempted to call you numerous times yesterday and today, however, you would hang up the call each time you pick up. We subsequently received your PSLF form as of today and will process your account accordingly.
Regarding your annual recertification, your federal program is based off of your income and family size. Therefore, every year it i required that you submit to the US Department of Education your updated information, this is termed as an annual recertification. This is something you can absolutely do on your own at no cost. We actually encourage you to do this on your own to stay on top of the status of your loans. However, we also do offer this as a service for clients who feel more comfortable having us handle their annual recertifications. Similar to filing taxes every year, the IRS requires you to submit your tax forms based off of the income that you had made. You can file taxes on your own, or you can hire an accountant to process your returns on your behalf.

This should still be considered a scam as you can have the Federal Student loan office help you for free. My loans have been in freeze since the pandemic started and wasn’t sure if my loans would be totally paid. Do to them being paid off by the government the contract should be voided actually should of the first day I signed as I didn’t have to make a payment.Business Response

i was told my student loans would be Consolidated and off my record in 6 months now doan solutions is lying stating that its on my record for 360 months then they doubled my loans they are false advertisement they stole my 995 dollars and now they want more money from me never signed a contract this business is a complete scam never received any paperwork in the mail like doan solutions stated they took my money and nothing has been accomplished then doan solutions wants me to pay 195 dollars a year this is suppose to get my student loans completely off my credit report but it states its in the negative this company has made a disaster out my credit history and credit report they told me in 6 months my student loans would be gone forever now they are stating 20 years what was the point on paying for this? they told me 240 months max now on my credit report it states 360 months very confused feel this is a HUGE scam.Business Response

We have attempted to contact you multiple times, but you are not answering your phone or returning our emails. We had spoken on Friday to both you and your mother and explained the process in full. At the end of our conversation, everything seemed fine, that is why we were surprised about the BBB complaint. Please reach out to us so we can further discuss any questions you may have.
Your loans were consolidated at the beginning of July. It may take up to 3 billing cycles (months) for the credit bureau to receive notification of your consolidation and your multiple loans will be reflected as one loan on your credit report. You can also log into your FSA credentials and see that status of your loans and that the consolidation is completed. The annual recertification fee is strictly optional, you can simply do this yourself, but some clients wish for us to assist them with it. But again, this is something you can do on your own. There doesn't exist any federal programs where your loans will be completely removed in a matter of 6 months.

Foam Solutions. Charged $200 for no services. I’m unable to reach them. The phone number is disconnected. Everything I see online says they are a scam. Please help!Business Response

You requested to cancel and a refund was issued on Friday, 12Aug2022. Refunds take anywhere from 5 to 10 business days to post back to your account. I was contacted my mr.***** about my loan default with student loan of 8.358.00; if i pay 595.00 it will be payed and in 6 to 9 months it will be taking care of. now i find out it's not taking care they i was told; now i have 240 months before it off of my credit report and i have to call doans every time i need a credit report; and i have to pay yearly for reinstatement of this paid off debt; i was miss in formed and did not sign a contract they did not and have not sent me any paper work; i have left a message with ****** at ************ tell her i want my refund of 595.00 i was miss lead by mr ***** and i don't want this service; thank you ******* ****Business Response
