Predatory Booting.George's Towing and Recovery was stalking the parking lot of a business that I was visiting and while I was inside the business the spotter placed a no parking sign in front of my car. Then when I returned, he had placed a boot on my wheel and told me I had to pay him $200 to remove it or $400 to get towed. So, I had no choice to be able to drive my friends home but to pay the extortion fee. The business owner said he had nothing to do with this predator and that I should call the police. The police came and took a report but there was nothing they could do because they called it a civil matter. This practice needs to be stopped. George is getting very rich preying on innocent people.

I parked my card on Thursday September 8 around 1:13pm and while waiting on the food from ****** ***** went about 350ft up the road to pick up a prescription from *** it was a in an out transaction and did not take long as soon as I came back my car was in the process of being towed at 1:19pm,

I showed my phone and offered to show the driver my card receipt but he refused and said if I step off the property no matter what I will get towed... I had to pay cash and asked for a receipt but did not provide one. If they truly created a receipt my license plate is ********

The store often said he has had to pay for other customers but couldn't help since they have a sign and it's not their property. He really wanted to help me but it is not something they can help with. He said this is common practice the towing company does and have tried to complain. He helped me cancel my order and as I mentioned I did not see the sign as other cars where blocking it once i parked. The sign is only visible coming into the property if you take a right turn but when i parked I only see the sign that say "for ****** customer only during regular business hours. NO PARKING AFTER BUSINESS HOURS All others will be towed or booted at owner's expense. If towed call 919-929-300" I was a customer so flabbergasted they screw customers over.

After walking around the other cars i finally saw the sign that said if I stepped out of the property I would get towed. Also, this was predatory really?? please help I called and they did not want to help me and hung up on me.

I tried to call them to get this resolved, but they refused to help.
