We have an issue with our car starting sluggish. We had our battery replaced by this company. They ran a test that suggested that the battery was in good shape. We recommended the upgraded battery, but they installed the standard. The car still starts in a sluggish manner, admittedly by the representative. So we paid $250 for a new battery that didnt correct our problem. They refused to upgrade to the next level battery and refused to give us a credit or refund.

I can't decide if this car care business suffers from incompetence or shady business practices...? I think it's both. Read the reviews and complaints. There are themes of both.A couple of weeks ago, my ***** with a *** battery would not start. The mobile unit came out, tested the battery, found it was bad, and was about to change it out. Unfortunately he could not get the connector off the negative terminal. So I drove it to the *** Kildaire location, expecting them to put in a new *** battery because it was less than 36 months. When I arrived I told them I would wait. After a bit they called and said they think the starter is bad and they wanted $76 "to test it". I told them no. Then after another 30 minutes, they said they put a new battery on and the starter must be bad because their machine says "it pulls too many amps when starting". They added that my battery was NOT under warranty due to around ***** miles over the ****** allowance but it doesn't matter because my starter ruined it anyway. So they wanted $210 for a new 36-month battery plus whatever extra charges they might add. I told them no thank you, I'll take it to my mechanic, and then there some attitude about ok, we'll have to take it back off the new battery and put your old one on, but if you just replace the battery it will be ruined.I drove it to my trusted *****-only mechanic. They tested it and said the battery was bad. I spent an extra $60 for a diagnostic (which they said wasn't needed but I wanted peace of mind) and they gave me a printout showing the amperage draw is right what it should be, for multiple starts. I paid $130 for a 42-month battery plus the $60, so the total was less than a *** 36-month battery. There have been no problems driving it daily for 2 weeks.I will never buy a *** battery again. I will never go to a *** Car Care center again. They tried to talk me into additional costs and repairs, and they misdiagnosed = Shady business practices and/or incompetence.

The Indian Land SC car care center is horrible! Simple maintenance results in damage to your vehicle and takes way too long (~3 hours for a previously scheduled oil change?!). Then they give you an inspection report telling you that every service for your vehicle is overdue, and parts are leaking and need immediate replacement, and your tires (with over half their tread depth) need to be replaced. I provided feedback to *** and their management didn't respond. The *** organization does not care about its customers. They will try to rip you off! Avoid for any emergency or repair service. If you're a member, have your car towed to a local independent shop you can trust. The latest maintenance with a local independently owned repair shop did not identify any issues with my car. It just needed an oil change. They even complimented me and how well maintained and clean the vehicle ******* does AAA stay in business?

When choosing a vehicle service shop, I prioritize timely service, quality of work, and friendly staff. ************ Center once met all of these expectations, but I can no longer trust them and would strongly advise others to avoid their services due to declining standards. For two weeks, I had to repeatedly add air to a tire that kept dropping to ***** PSI, well below the recommended 36 PSI. After identifying a leak around the rim, I scheduled an appointment at AAA on 9/27/2024 since I had purchased the tires from them and had their Road-Side Hazard Package. The technician confirmed the leak, explained the repair process, and I also requested a tire rotation and balance. A couple of hours later, I was informed the job was complete. However, when I picked up my vehicle, the rear-right tire showed just 26 PSI. Assuming the technician hadnt topped it off, I added air myself. The next morning, I found the tire completely flat again, forcing me to use my air pump.I originally chose AAA in 2015 for their reliable service, but by 2024, Ive dealt with incomplete jobs, a broken rear window with stolen items, an engine replacement due to defective parts, and poor customer service. Ive finally lost all trust in AAA and will no longer use their services. If you value your vehicle and your time, I strongly recommend finding a more reliable service provider. Avoid ************ Center to save yourself frustration and unnecessary expense.

My husband and I have been taking our cars to AAA care services in ************ for at least 5 years. We have always been happy with the friendly, efficient, quality service, until recently. This business has changed over the past 6 or so months. Not the same employees and the service is much slower. Has the ownership or management changed?I made an appointment over a week ago for today at 10:30 AM to have an oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. I arrived 15 minutes early. When I entered, the worker walking from the shop said, "Here comes another one." as he frowned and appeared annoyed. He then asked if he could help me in a tone that seemed disgusted. I replied. "Good morning! GOOD morning, right?" He replied, "I'm alive." So, I said "Well, then, that's a good morning. Right?" He mumbled something and then asked what I was having done. I told him and then he asked if I planned to stay while the vehicle was serviced. I told him I was. He then said it would take a couple of hours. Wow! He didn't offer a vehicle or ride, as would have happened before, so I called my husband to pick me up. Three and a half hours later I received a text that my car was ready for pickup. Note: After I called my husband, I walked out to wait for my husband to pick me up. While waiting, a gentleman exited the facility shortly after I did. He walked by me and said "This is not the same place it used to be." And shook his head. The terrible attitude and service towards customers, who are the people who help pay your wage, is going to bring down this business. I know I am done with AAA ********* in ************.

Very concerned that our vehicle was tampered with to prove the water pump was bad. No problems with the water pump before we arrived. Brought vehicle in to repair cv joints. They were ok. But now the water pump is leaking. Then discussed replacing the timing chain since it has never had that done. So now we are up to $5,000+. I will talk to the service advisor when I pick the vehicle up. Its been there 10 days.

I brought my car in for a simple inspection and came back failed for two reasons. The first one I can agree with, a parking light was out. But the second reason, the rear view mirror tint is broken and the side view mirror has a crack in it. However, none of these issues prevent me from seeing out of it which is clearly stated in the state statue they printed out for me after I told them I'll find new parts so they wouldn't try to sell me their expensive, hard to find parts for my old car. I've said I've never been failed for this ever and not interested in those parts and left.A day later, I brought my car to another inspection station, they fixed the light out and passed me without issue.I don't think I'm gonna be heading back here despite it being the closest repair shop to my house, considering they potentially tried to sell me something I didn't need and waste my Saturday morning.

Called AAA to come and give my dead battery a jump due to me having to be somewhere that is very important and they sent out a technician Im assuming they did not train the technician because he put the positive on the negative and negative on the positive and went to crank my car and when he did sparks went to flying and smoke which caused a dead battery smh and due to the technician damaging my car worse they dont feel the need to correct it or replaced what had happened. I wonder how ma y people they do this to in all honesty like this cant be fair or correct . They dont even seem to care or anything. This is definitely a hard pill because you have to correct something that someone was supposed to correct how genius. Technician didnt even report the damages smh !

Had service on 2 different days and paid for the previous service. The invoice I got for the next days service included the previous days service and supposedly subtracted. Well the coat just didn't add up. Also they charge you twice the cost of what the parts actually cost. I would not take my bicycle to this shop less more my car. They are sneaky and dishonest.

306 **************** **********, ** 27455-2520 On 06/06/23 on went into the service center with a battery that I bought from roadside service I explained that my vehicle was at an automotive service center and they tested my system and said that the battery was faulty and was not recommended that I drive with said battery. The person at the counter said they could not check the battery without it being in the *********** would need to bring my vehicle to them or have roadside come to the automotive center.I advised that that made no sense when he could see I bought the battery from AAA, they could scan the battery & test it without me having to bring my vehicle to them for a test that had already been run by the automotive center I got nowhere, so I call roadside service and after 2 hours of calling customer service - to see why I had not heard from the tech and being told my request was being worked on. So a total of 4 hours later - roadside service never showed up. The last customer service rep was rude and said that I would need to call the service center to see why they could not test the battery there and I need to do another roadside request as she could on tell me that they were still working on my request So here I am a customer waiting another day for your people to test the battery, as a customer this is unacceptable This is the second time this year that roadside was a no show, thank God I was not sitting in the road like last time Make this right - give me a refund (prorate) for my battery and cancel my AAA membership.Update: Spoke with CSP ***** who said that the garage told them they were not coming when the request was submitted the 1st time & another request was submitted with the same response back, ***** said she could see where I had called & the response back to me was wrong b/c the tech was NEVER COMING . CSP ***** advised that I can purchase my own ***************** the receipt whhich was never told to me before.
