    On 11/1/24, was charged $ 200 for a Budget rental truck via Fairway Auto that I cancelled with *** while I was in the building. *** decided to charge my card AFTER I LEFT THE BUILDING! I found a better deal with U-Haul, which is where I intended to go in the first place (the Budget and U-Haul locations were literally minutes from each other, and they both have an auto repair store front). When I contacted *** @ Budget, he told me that he reversed the charge, and I would have the money back in a few days. I have contacted Budget customer service multiple times and was told that money was sent back. When I contacted *****, the manager told me that there was nothing on file that showed a refund was processed. I have been speaking with the manager of Fairway Auto (*****) who initially didn't even listen to me and kept telling me to call Budget customer service again. He also could not find the reservation or cancellation, which emailed him proof of the reservation details and charges from my account. He stated he was going to contact his manager who would be more equipped to handle this issue. I have sent 2 follow up emails to him, and I have yet to be contacted. Here it is 11/19/24, and the $200 has yet to be refunded.

    Hello! In regards to this complaint.. it is being resolved by ************* customer service. We cannot respond to this because we are only a franchise of Budget.
