I am rejecting this response because:

I am not interested in meeting again unless it is to discuss compensation. The leak was assessed multiple times by Carolina Home Remodeling as detailed in the complaint and is now being assessed by a third party.

ediate issues. 11/19/2024 - Leaking from bathroom begins again. Initial spot of leak continues and additional spots appear. 11/21/2024 - Carolina Home Remodeling sends a plumber to investigate and informs us that they are not responsible for leak and we are responsible for all repairs. Company refuses all recourse.I now have a $14,888 shower I didn't want or need, and continue to have the same leak.

To Whom It May ********** 4/07/2020 I had Carolina Home Remodeling install a new shower. This company installed a shower pan over decaying wood without telling me about the wood. Given the opportunity I would have had them replace the wood. They also installed black piping into the white pipe, which I have heard is illegal. All of this has contributed to the decaying of the bandseal also. We would have had all this fixed prior to the install if we had been notified. This company never pulled a permit for this work which in turn it was never inspected. By doing the proper thing pulling the permit, the inspection would have revealed the decaying wood to us, which would have had to be fixed before the job would have been completed. I have seen pictures of what looks like the pipe was leaking at some point in time. We now have mold growing under the house and more decayed wood. This has affected my husbands health with breathing in the mold spores. I feel that this company took advantage of us being an older couple. I am not very knowledgeable about this type of work and the damages that have happened from this shower install. If given the opportunity I would have made sure everything would have been fixed before the shower install and if a permit was pulled then the inspection would have revealed the problem in the beginning. This has now thrown us into a financial hardship because the problem has worsened since the shower install. Besides having to have the bandseal, floor joist, mold removal, we now have to have a place to stay while the mold removal is being done and when the floor is being replaced because it will not be a one day job. I have not even considered what all this mold has done to my health and my dogs health, not to mention the severity of what it has done to my husbands health. Thank you,***************************

We recently had both showers replaced and barley a year and a half later they are already falling apart. We've had to replace nearly all the hardware. The shower itself has mold growing in the caulking. We were sold a false bill of goods. We were told we were paying ********* for a 17k loan. We were under the impression that the quoted amount included the interest for the loan. As of August 30th 2023 we were made aware that the true amount of the loan was 40k. For 2 plastic showers!!! If we were made aware this deal would've been dead in the water.

On 1/28/2022, Carolina Home Remodeling, completed a shower for this customer per the contract between the customer and CHR.  On 2/1/2022, our company also completed a bathtub for this customer.  Both projects were completed and the customer signed a completion certificate for each project.  Additionally, Union County inspected and passed both projects as part of the permitting process.
Since this time, over 1.5 year, the customer has not expressed any concerns until 8/31/2023.  At the time when our company heard from the customer, we attempted to schedule an inspection of the concerns at the customers home. The customer declined to let CHR come to perform an inspection.  Our Production Manager left messages on both phone numbers listed for the customer on 9/5/2023 as well. However, they did not return the calls.
Concerning the financing, the customer did sign all the lending agreements. The financing terms and conditions were listed in the bank paperwork that was signed by the customer.
CHR did complete the work per the contract.  CHR would have inspected the work if there were any concerns had we had the chance. The work was performed and inspections were completed.
