On 06/13/2024 I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee from above company, not 30 days after purchase had to contact dealer due to engine light coming on, got no where with the service manager, took the car and had it put on a machine, car had never been tuned up, bad plugs and wires, car would get a death wobble at 60 mph, spoke to the service manager, wanted me to drive over an hour to bring to his people to rotate the tires, I took it too a tire shop close to where I live and that was not the problem, the two front tires were worn out on the inside, the dealer could not have serviced the car fully or even checked the brakes because the car did not even have the key to take off the locking lugs from the wheels, when I spoke too the sales manager about it he just brushed it of as business as usual and said he would not give me what I paid for the tires, he would only put a certain amount towards my account. Also had to purchase a new battery for the car, new new lug nuts since the tire shop had to use a hammer and a socket to to gat the locking ones off without the key.Business Response

Sorry to hear this but the vehicle was sold AS IS and without a warranty. We tried to help you as courtesy by referring you to a tire shop we trust to evaluate your vehicle and try to resolve the issue you wanted; however, you chose to go another route and take your vehicle to a shop of your choice and purchase a new set of tires. And because we wanted to help again as courtesy, we issued a $200 credit toward your car payment.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
I purchased a warranty with the vehicle, the vehicle came with no key to unlock the wheel locks, the tires should have been replaced even if the car didnt have a warranty, how can a safety inspection be done on the brakes if you dont take the wheels off, the credit you gave didnt even cover the cost of the tires.Business Response

The vehicle did pass inspection with the tires that were on it and there was no need to change them. You obviously looked and test drove the vehicle before you bought it and did not complain or say anything regarding the tires at that time. Also if you purchased a warranty on the vehicle, it would not cover the tires or most of the maintenance items.Initial Complaint

This incredibly unprofessional and down right low place is horrible and is holding my vehicle even though I paid the money to get the vehicle back. I was told an appointment time of 2:00pm to pick up my vehicle and now I cant be provided any information on when they will be there so that I can pick it up. I am a paying customer and want their to be some type of compensation for all of this time they are holding my vehicle AFTER I paid what was owed.Business Response

June 12 2023 Dear BBB team I have come through this process to urgently ask you for help regarding a car that I bought with a dealer who totally lacked of professionalism.it's a ****** camry 2016 *** the vin number :***************** and the dealer is:Auto America *************************************************************************** Tel: **************. When I bought this car the chair were completely wet and with very large stains and the seller told me a very strong product was used to remove the stains and then when it dries everything will be clear and the stains will disappear . But until now the stains are still there.So I asked them to give me around $150 to $200 to put seat covers and they completely refused me.2. But that's not just the problem, A week after buying the car I had 2 tires explode after we realized that both tires had bobling and I have the receipts for the 2 new tires.Then a week later I smelled burning oil and I went back to see them and on that day nothing was discovered but then I found that the smell is coming from the transmission who never had fluid change. 3. later 0n checked the air filter was totally old and full of dirt and I had to buy another one.4, I just checked the air conditioner filter has never been changed. I am about to discover that this car was sold without respecting marked regulation for cars.5. They calculated the price of the car completely incorrectly. the interests for financing are totally wrong.It's all unbelievable how they deceived me and right now I want to hand over the car to them.Please help me resolve this situation.Thank you ***************************** ***************************** ********* and my fone number is : ************Business Response

Would like to start by saying that all of our retailed vehicles go through service to get checked for safety and repairs of any faulty parts. Here is the response to this complaint. As far as the stains on the seat, we offered to clean them with no guarantee they will be 100% off. Tires did not show any signs of damages at the time of sale and when customer called about burning oil smell, we offered to check it for free ( even though the car was sold AS IS). Please see attached documents. The customer did bring car in one Friday and the car was checked and couldn't find any oil leaks. The rest of the stuff the customer has mentioned are maintenance that needs to be check periodically by the customer. Such as air & ac filters, which i can assure you they were checked before the sale took place. We regret that ***************************** feels this was as we tried our best to help even being as a AS IS sale. We strive to make all of our customers have a great experience.

Or It is a fake Dealer warranty certificate or i was victim of sign here and sign here with wrong explanation and without any translator du to my low english understanding..
See atach the receipt of 2 tires who blowout after few days of buying this car becaues they was bubling from inside.
Also the pictures of the air conditioner filter and air filter who never been replace.
The problem that i am concerning is about the chair who they promise to me after drying will be clean and until today it's still on the same ugly situation. For that they cannot scape with any justification.
The smilling oil is because the transmition fluid who never been replace.
The all main problem is about the chair.. Why their are making that diffficult ? .Why they do not want to accept their failure of ****** a car with lot of problem ? For me this is luck of professionalismo.
I want them to change the transmition fluid and a seat cover or right now I own less then $5000 on loan I will give them $3000 cash and game over.
Just to add that this car was also at the higher interest rate. When I both the mileage was almost ******* miles. ** you can see attached the bill of sale the price was $11.600 and after buying this car I just found out lot of problem. I put a down paiement of $4600 and I just found out i am being paying to much.
I am paying $430 a month since february 2023 and the loan is for 2 years and at the end I will end up paying $10230.00 plus taxes and all others service and finally will be over $16.000.00.
This is too much expensive. That is why my deal is for them to do the oil transmission change and the seat cover or i will paying $3000.00 fot the left over loan and every thingh is finalize
