on 06/22/2025 Autobell carwash cracked my windshield and chipped my paint and has cost me 500$ that I dont really have extra to spend on my windshield and having to live with the paint chips I went through the car wash and they damaged my vehcile I filed a report on 06/22/2025 with the "acting manager" at the time he informed me that the real manager would give me a call on 06/23/2025 being a monday, never got a call monday when I called autobell they had no record of what happened. So when i got off work tuesday I went by spoke with the manager ***** and he informed me that no one told him of the issue and if they had he would have told them to tell me good luck. I was informed that supposidly in the 11 years he had been at that location no one had ever had a cracked window or paint chip from the machines before and that I must have done it myself, since no one has had a cracked windshield before the policy they have in place is your on your own they gave me a receipt with a claim number and were just downright rude and not helpful so I must come out of pocket 500 with insurance and file a claim to fix all I wanted was either the ********************************************** for them to fix my windshield Ill have to handle the repaint when I have the extra money another timeBusiness Response

On the afternoon of 06/22/2025 Mr. ****** utilized our services. Upon exiting our conveyor, the claimed damages were brought to the attention of the manager on duty. An investigation into the matter was initiated which included a full comprehensive assessment of all equipment and cloth, vehicles inspected before and after Mr.Marcums vehicle, and inspection of the claimed damages to gauge any correlation with the operation of our tunnel equipment. Zero evidence was substantiated to support this customer claim. High temperatures were anticipated in the mid to upper 90s, with feels-like temperatures closer to the 100-degree **** in the afternoon hours when Mr. ****** had utilized our services. Cold water touching glass with a pre-existing chip will cause thermal expansion resulting in a crack that was experienced in this situation. Albeit an unfortunate situation, Autobell Car Wash does not accept liability for pre-existing damages. Furthermore, all of our tunnel equipment not only was operating within spec but also free of any foreign material or object that would cause the damages of chipped paint/glass Mr. ****** is claiming. Autobell Car Wash stands behind the safety and integrity of our equipment, procedures,and practices. Due to pre-existing damage and the lack of evidence to support this customer claim ********************** does not accept responsibility for this matter.

On April 1, 2025, I purchased the Super Unlimited Plan for $80.42 (Order ID *****, which auto-renews monthly. The next day, April 2, 2025, I decided against the plan and called customer support to request cancellation and a refund, having not used the service at all. I spoke with a woman who said the cancellation would be processed, but the refund might not be approved. I accepted that and ended the call but tried disputing the charge with my bank.However, on June 2, 2025, I was charged again for $80.42. Upon reviewing my statements, I also realized I was charged on May 1, 2025. I have not used the car wash even once since April 1, 2025.I called customer support again on June 2 and, coincidentally, spoke with the same representative. She confirmed she was the person I spoke to in April but refused to connect me with a manager, which I find unacceptable. She did say someone would reach out to me, but I have yet to hear back. I have the June 2 call recorded for reference.I urge management to review the call logs and usage records, which will clearly show I never used the service. Our records show that you had your vehicle serviced on April 1, 2025. Per the Terms and Conditions "all Unlimited? car wash plan payments are non-refundable regardless of actual use. If we elect, in our sole discretion, to issue a refund upon termination of the plan, under no circumstances will it exceed one (1) month of charges and will only be provided if there has been no usage of the Unlimited? car wash plan since the previous payment." It appears our operations team made an exception in your case and issued a refund for charges made on May 1, 2025, and June 1, 2025. I am writing to share my observations during my visit to your **********, ** location earlier today. Upon arrival, I noted the absence of a menu detailing the available car wash options for review.Furthermore, I was concerned by the procedure employed for the interior cleaning of my vehicle. The two employees attending to my car utilized the same towels to clean the interior windows as they had used on the exterior surfaces. Consequently, upon departing and encountering sunlight, the windows exhibited significant streaking.Upon returning to your location, I requested a re-cleaning of the windows, specifically asking for the application of a cleaning spray followed by wiping. However, I was informed that your location no longer uses spray for window cleaning. I was also advised that the cloths used contain a window-cleaning chemical and are laundered for reuse.They staff did not care that this could be a potiential driving hazard by simply stating we do not spray window. This is a liability for *********. Ultimately, I had to leave and undertake the task of re-cleaning my car windows myself. I am rejecting this response because:I did return to Autobell about 5 minutes after my visit. I asked if someone would spray and clean my windows. I was informed they do not spray windows and that they have chemicals on the rags. Yes the same rags they wiped the outside of my car, wheels and put the film on the inside of my windows. Why would I drive back for the same experience.I grew up with the Howards, I lived next door to ***** and *****, the company and procedures have changed so much. ********* would be so disappointed in the lack of care Autobell gives customers. I hope that they take into consideration all the complaints I have seen and realize that Autobell went from one of the best carwashes and provided the best *********** they have a horrible reputation and are deemed one of the worst.
I requested a refund.I have no intention of ever having Autobell clean my car again.

After the price was jacked up, almost double for the membership for unlimited exterior interior cleaning. The service went ********. The kids that work for them Don't even wash the interior windows when i complained about this 3 to 4 times the manager's name is ****. He had then complained to his higher up. Who now has decided to ****** my membership without me requesting it. I think that's great because now it opens them up to being sued for fraud and theft. Claim ***** filed on 1/24/2025 Autobell Car Wash #***** ******************************************* **** ***** - store manager Incident at 12:22 on 2/21/2025 2024 ****** Outback at Autobell for drive through wash. I backed up to throw away trash at the trash receptacle. No issues with my car in reverse at that time, then drove through the wash. Mid wash, it stopped for 8 seconds then started. I finished the wash and drove immediately to Target in ****** without incident. As I pulled into the parking lot, I decided to back into the parking space. When the car was put into reverse, an alarm sounded and a light came on saying that the Reverse Automatic Braking system was not working. I parked and used the ****** site and ****** to find the answers. There was nothing I could do to fix the **** I went into ****** for about 30 minutes and came back out, drove home. Since I had seen pictures of where the *** sensor was supposed to be, and it was missing and scratches across my bumper. The sensor was dangling under the car. It had been knocked out of its small hole. I then sent an email to Autobell to describe what had happened. The manager, **** *****, asked me to come by so he could see the damage. In the meantime I called my ****** dealers collision center to ask about the repair along with pictures. I was told that the bumper would have to be taken off to repair the **** It has to be calibrated again and a new bumper put on. This estimate was $2000. The Autobell manager examined my car, crawled under and tried to push the sensor back in which I asked him not to do as this car is a lease and I didnt want to void my warranty. He stated that some of the scratches were red and it was impossible for the wash to do that. The other scratches were black but all were horizontal. He stated there was no way that Autobell could be responsible for the damage and refused to reach a resolution. I said I would file a claim and continue to seek resolution by other means.Business Response

Thank you for allowing us to respond. As Mrs. **** stated, she visited us on 02/21/2025 utilizing her Unlimited Ride Thru plan. The following day at 04:51PM is when we were notified of claimed damages to her rear parking sensor and bumper. A voicemail was left with my contact information the same day at 05:23PM. We were able to get in contact the following morning and set up a time to meet on site that Thursday 02/27/2025. A claim investigation was initiated. The investigation determined Autobell Car Wash will not be liable for damages based upon multiple litigating factors.This includes evidence of red paint transfer on rear bumper indicating impact from a foreign material outside of our wash tunnel, multiple vehicles washed before and after customers vehicle without damage, and the claimed damages does not correlate with the operation of our car wash equipment. There are multiple colors before the scratch reaches the solid black bumper. It does not have to be scratched by something red. There are also black deeper scratches in the exact same pattern and all scratches are parallel. The scratches run horizontally which is physically impossible should my vehicle be hit from behind as Mr ***** suggested to me. This was done by something moving horizontally and parallel to the bumper.
The timeline of the damage requires that it was done between driving into the wash and backing up into the handicap parking space at *******The alarm sounded as soon as I put the car in reverse to park.
It was not due to any human interaction but that the machinery failed for seconds and then was started again which did not provide a smooth ride through the wash.
I believe it is an excellent Autobell and know the malfunction of the equipment is the only possible thing that could have caused this damage. I do expect a reputable company such as Autobell with ********* headquarters would be willing and feel obligated to repair these damages due to the equipment malfunction and interrupted ride through wash.Business Response

There was not any time that my vehicle was not under my control except during the wash. From the reversing at the wash with no problems to reversing at the Target when problems occurred, I was in my car. There were no issues until the wash. I realize that Autobell is standing behind **** ***** but he was not there on the day it occurred. There was a tape that only he has seen. I would like a copy of the tape emailed to me. Has he spoken to the employees at the wash? For a community company such as Autobell and *****, this lack of responsibility to provide a satisfactory resolution disappoints me. I will continue to seek resolution. This repair may seem minor to a company as large as Howco but it is a major cost to me. I am disabled and had to retire early. Incident occurred on 1/30.I am reaching out to you regarding an incident that occurred at an Autobell Car Wash on Thursday, 1/30. While attempting to get my car washed, I was instructed by an employee to move forward onto the conveyor. However, my car got stuck. The employee then directed me to reverse to free my vehicle, but in the process, my driver-side tire popped while the conveyer was still running. I filed a formal complaint with Autobell, but I have not received any communication or follow-up from them. I had to pay $150 out of pocket for tire repairs, and Autobell is responsible for covering these costs.I would prefer to resolve this situation amicably, but if necessary, I will pursue a claim in small claims court. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond. The customer came in to get her vehicle washed on January 30th, 2025, and was guided onto the conveyor with hand signals and our guide up sign. The customer was in charge of her own vehicle and did not follow guide up instructions properly which caused damage to the tire.
After having the customer back off the conveyor, the management team offered to change her tire and put her spare on so she could exit the facility safely. Autobell is not at fault for the damages due to the customer not following our guide up procedures.

Last transaction was 1/13/25. The emblem on my VW was removed by the carwash and I want it replaced. I had previously had the emblem taken off by Sheets who did replace it, I had never had problems with this beforehand. I had the emblem put on by the local Flow ** dealership and the next time i visited this car wash it was thrown off again. I retrieved the emblem and the person at the car wash told me you just had to place it back on and it would be fine, he said it probably had prior damage. So I did what he said then. It was fine until I want through the car wash again. This time I warned them about the problem from the prior visit and they watched it get thrown off. When they tried to find it they had lost one of the pieces of it so one could not just thrown back on. I was told to fill out a complaint form, which I did and if I didn't hear back to contact Cam **** the manager is a couple of days. I left a voice message on 1/15/25 and and a text saying I could find a good price on it. There was no response so I contacted him again on the phone and left a message almost a week later (his voice message said he would get back to me in 24 hours) saying it was disrespectful to not even answer the message. He called me that day and we made a date to meet because he said I had not given enough information. I asked if there was someone there who knew what information was required and he said yes. Had to change the date of meeting to 1.23/25 due to snow. Went that day and he informed me that I could finish filling out the form but they were going to decline reparations due to prior damage (which they had caused) . I was trying to deal with it because they were reluctant to replace the part the first time the car wash had flipped it out. So, I took the paper from them and left to report them to you to handle. You have been very efficient at handling this time of issue before so my husband suggested I give to you.Business Response

I belong to ********* Carwash located at ********************************************. I go frequently and appreciate using the phone app for servive. One time in the last 3 weeks when the four floor matts were taken out to be vacumned, the 2 rear matts were not put back in. I have tried calling ********* **************** and was told this claim needs to start at the location. I have spoke face to face and over the phone to many times to get no results. The only place I can get the two rear matts is at the dealership by purchasing all four. I am getting no results from any one that I talk to. The two people that I have spoken to is *** and ******. After careful consideration, Autobell will not be accepting responsibility for the missing floor mats. Due to the circumstances of the encounters with the customer, the floor mats in question were not removed or cleaned during the time that was spent on site.

I am rejecting this response because: If from what I was told previously from two managers, that I do not pay for the interior of my vehicle to get cleaned ore vacumned, why have my windows been cleaned befrore and at times vacumbed. Why did the employees not say anything of the sort when I asked for them to do what they did like they have in the paste. Because of my dissability I can not clean the windows inside or out. Sometimes I need the carpets vacumned. If I was aware of this proccess not being paid for I would never ask for it. I can not be responsable for a bussiness that does this for bussines, do this at my expense. When I get told that I don't pay for this than why, at times was it done. I have more respect and compassion than to automaticly want or need to complane abought something that I could have prevented.Business Response

10/03/2024 $69.99 Super unlimited plan On October 3, 2024 I bought the super unlimited plan to wash my car. They did not clean the interior of the car, which is included in that plan. On Monday, October 7, I tried to wash my car again, but they told me that I had to have the app to be able to wash my car. The employee said that I could not wash my car because I need to have the app. When I bought the plan, they did NOT tell me that I had to have the app to use the car wash. My cell phone does not work and I do not know until when I can replace it. The number I provided is my home or landline, so I cannot download the app.I have contacted Autobell on three different occasions asking them to return my money because I did not know that I had to have the app to wash my car at Autobell. Autobell is currently running a new promotion in association with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, INC (NBCF). From September 30, 2024, through November 3, 2024, Autobell customers who purchase a car wash at any of the company’s 90 locations in 5 states and are not currently Autobell Unlimited? plan members will receive a complimentary 30-day Unlimited wash plan that corresponds to the single wash purchased. Autobell will contribute a portion of proceeds from these wash sales to NBCF.
Ms. Garcia purchased a Super Polyprocess car wash at one of our Autobell locations, and she was enrolled in this promotion. A Super Unlimited plan typically charges $69.99 (plus state and local tax) each month, but with this promotion she only paid the cost of a single Super Polyprocess Wash ($37.44). Upon her contact stating that she was not able to download the Autobell App we cancelled the Unlimited Plan so that no further charges are withdrawn. Ms. Garcia was only charged $37.44 on October 3, 2024, for the Super Polyprocess wash that she received. No further refunds will be issued at this time.
