UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICEUpon my arrival, the hostess did not greet me at all. Instead, she was texting on her phone and complaining to the other employee about ****. She stated,I dont know why he comes here if hes not going to work. After ringing up my order, she said nothing elseI had to ask if my transaction was complete. I asked her a question to get clarification about some confusing wording on your menu. She did not give an answer that was clear so I let it go to ask again when I got my food. The cook/owner overheard the conversation and lost her mind! She was aggressive, loud and unprofessional. She displayed her displeasure by jerking the hostess stand, screaming about giving me a refund, talking about she dont mind taking a ride today and screaming obscenities including calling me a b*tch when she finally walked back to the kitchen area. Not to mention, she grabbed a menu and walked around to all of the waiting customers to ask them to co-sign the menus wording. She should have spent that energy to help me understand because it was my question. In her rage, she suggested giving me a refund; I was absolutely fine with it because that was my next course of action. At this point, I had been aggressively approached, cursed out loud in the middle of the restaurant, and told not to return because it be your own kind. That is alarming because anybody can ask a question about the menu and their order. In response to my ****** review, the restaurant stated I wanted to be given an extra food item. Lets be clear, I didnt want to be GIVEN anything; I visited the establishment to PAY for my food and have an UNDERSTANDING of my order. I was also told to not go to another black owned establishment. My response to that is for ***************** to be a better representation of the BLACK OWNED ESTABLISHMENT. I also advised that will continue to patronize establishments that welcomes me with professionalism and appear excited to have satisfied customers.
