    My child has attended Kiddie Academy- Blakeny since she was 6 months old. I absolutely loved the curriculum and the staff. My child is now 2.5 years old. November 2023-The academy switched owners. The new owner has taken me and my child through extreme distress. He took additional funds out of my account after an agreement was discussed for a certain amount and timeframe. He declined writing a newsletter specifically stating tuition dates/payments or staff will not change. The newsletter was sent to each family. At the very bottom of the document, "Sincerely, The owner's name, past owner and Kiddie Academy Staff". After having a meeting with the new owner, I left a review regarding my personal experience. The new owner had the Director to tell me to take it down. The new owner discriminated against me and my child stating he will not "deal with black families and will soon stop accepting subsidy." The new owner's niece decided to disenroll my child from school abruptly at 2:30 during school hours. I asked her reasoning verbally and she replied, "I do not have to give a reason". I asked if she could put it in writing and the disenrollment letter reasoning was false information. The new owner and niece retaliated by disenrolling my child. My child was in compliance according to the parent agreement, I signed.
