I was interested in applying for the Queens University Summer ****** Housing program. I asked questions about the application twice but the office never responded. Wanting to get my housing plans figured out, I submitted an application anyway, just days after it opened, and sent my employer confirmation, to which the office responded and said they would give me more information in two weeks. The application included a $250 non-refundable deposit, which I paid and understood would go towards my rent once I had signed a lease. It has been six weeks, and the office has given me no information and has not responded to my multiple requests for a status update. Their application is now closed and the housing program is full. It appears to me that simply took my deposit without even considering my application, withholding an answer as spots filled up. Because of this, the appropriate resolution would be return the $250 fee.

We have cancelled your reservation and I have reached out to our finance department and your refund will be processed and you should receive it in the next two weeks.
