This is a horrible place to work. I wish I could give it 0 stars. They speak of being inclusive of LGBTQ+ and that they care but when it comes to it, they don't care and they allow bullies to work for them as their employees. They are racist and not understanding of mental disorders and they have no professionalism to themselves. They spread rumours too and they believe their older employees rather than the ones who are actually telling the truth. Don't tell them anything. As a matter of fact, they don't even work for them. The machinery is rusting away and breaking and their infrastructure is welded together in a shabby way. If there is a hole in one of the rock chutes then they just grab a random piece of metal that's laying on the ground and weld it on or they get expanding foam or a rag and shove it in the hole to stop the leak. There is nothing professional about this place and it reminds me of a prison. Nobody cares and nobody is nice to one another. If I were you (the reader) I would take a gas station job before you took this job. Even if they offered you this job, don't take it. I speak from experience from working out there. Please, do NOT take anything from this job. It's the most horrible company that I have ever worked for. They just tell you pretty little lies so you feel better at first before they let you see their true colours which is horror. I will never work here again in the ************************ of Vulcan for as long as I live. I don't even want to see any granite rocks from here. I want to scoop up all of the rocks that are in my driveway (sadly from them) and take them to the landfill. I'd rather have a dirt driveway again. It's better than having hateful lying Vulcan's rocks in my driveway. I don't even want to stare at my own driveway or drive on it. That's how angry I am at Vulcan. The employees here are horrible and the management doesn't care about fixing it. And oh boy, did I tell you that they love to spread rumours? Horrible place.
