      Was refused a refund for classes my daughter did not attend. Was denied a free trial, even though their website advertises one.

      ********************* phoned mid September wanting to obtain a 30 day refund for his daughter, ****'s dance class along with a refund of the $50 registration fee.  He told us they were never informed they could do a Trial Class at our studio in ********************.  I explained to him during this call that they would have been able to do a Trial Class if they waited until August to register for classes.  They registered in June before classes began.  Trial Classes are only given if there is room in the classes, there is a risk if you wait to take a trail not being placed in the class you want as classes fill up quickly.  He said he was never told that and I reminded him it is in our Student Handbook.  ***** said he and his wife didn't know it was in the handbook.  I reminded him when they registered for the class in June  *************************** acknowledged digitally that the handbook was reviewed. ***** said regardless of whether they signed the handbook or not he should have been told to wait and do the Trial Class.

      I reiterated to him we were going to fulfill the obligations as laid out in our Student Handbook in regards to student withdrawal.

      The ******* signed the withdrawal form for their daughter on 8/31 and submitted it to our ****** studio, this withdrawal in accordance with our student handbook requires a 30 day notice of withdrawal from the studio.

      No refund is due, in accordance with our student handbook.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I was told via email twice that there is no free trial class even though it says so on their website; therefore, I should be refunded for the trial class my daughter attended which I was charged $180 for.
