On May 24, ********************* company sent a electrician to check our electrical system for problems complementary. Everything was working in our home properly. All electrical outlets were working. He came and checked all of my outlets and said there were no problems with any of them. Then he said I want you to know that your bathroom plug is connected to the outdoor plug,( which it has been since the house was built.) We have had no problems with any of it since weve owned the house. I then go into my bathroom and find that none of the plugs are working. I then call **** and they say that they will email the management and tell them that we were having problems with our electricity. No one called me back. I finally called him back and they tell me that they have no one available to handle this situation and they said that they will email the management and tell them that we were having problems with our electricity. I then asked to speak to the manager and they told me that it was not possible. Finally someone calls, who turns out to be the gentleman who checked my plugs and he says he can come and check them to see if anything is wrong. And then tells me that if he has to do something to fix them, I would have to pay him to do it. This to me seems like he sabotaged my service in order for me to have to pay him to fix it. I do believe thats illegal and I will never trust this company to complementary do anything for me. It seems like its their way of getting into your home to create work for them to the charge you to repair. Why would you come to someones home, upset their system and then knowing you mightve had something to do with the damage not try to fix the problem you caused. He then told me that they would have to charge me for the repair. I will be telling my neighbors around this home, and my home in Providence Plantation about the service I obtained from ****. Now I have to pay someone to come and fix my electricity. I will not have any because its the weekend!

      Business Response

      Date: 05/26/2023

We were able to visit the customer this afternoon (Friday, 5/26) before the holiday weekend and resolve the issue.  A GFCI outlet tripped in the hall bathroom resulting in no power to the primary bath.  Our electrician showed the customer how to reset it in the case that it happens again, and explained how we can help if this continues to be an issue in the future.  There was no sabotage to the customer's home as noted in the complaint.  ********* is back on and the customer was not charged for this visit.
