      My grandson was killed three weeks ago and rosadale funeral home and parlor handles his service,********* said they were having inspections but they still took my grandson body they did not Have a freezer to put him they put him in a room with a fan they did not keep him clean he had blood coming out his ear make up running no air conditioning it was 85 degrees in the place when we told him of the problem he just said wait a minute. And leave out the room. The day of the funeral same thing.they used fans small one my grandson was a small person but he looked like he was getting ready to blow up.he rush the service so fast we did not have time to set at the ****** site he told us the service was over. His father just cried and then he had a little boy helping with the service and he was running with a robber mask on scaring the kids they said nothing when we told them about it he said wait a minute went talk to a lady sitting in one of the office.never said anything my great grand were so scared til they don't sleep at night I have to sleep with them.the cry jumping there sleep I think that funeral home needs to be closed down from doing *********** daughter cry Everytime wego ***** that funeral home

      This is in response to the complaint regarding complaint #********. On August 19, 2024, the deceased arrived at House of Rosadale ******************************************************. Mr. ***** was alway kept in cold environment. Permission to embalm was given by his mother, viewing was done before hand. Services proceeded 2 and a half weeks later. **************************** met with the family; his mother, father, and his eldest sister on August 23, 2024. The family approved the final price, merchandise and criteria for payment and funeral arrangements. No payment plans accepted, funeral bill to be paid within 48 hours of the funeral. Family were given documents stating the policies. ***** inspections and facility passed all inspections. Day of first viewing, family proceeded with viewing. Mother was not present. Cosmetics were applied due to facial scarring. This explained by Mrs. ******* and Mr. ******* ******** (PR) Him being swollen was not true. He had to placed in a protective suit which prevent leaks. Made him look a swollen. Attendees touching and rubbing caused some leakage from the ears and nose, attendants were tentative to him. Services presumed. Far as the temperature in the funeral home which was set at the proper temperature, if you have over 150 people going in and out of the funeral home, children as well as patrons leaving the front door open the temperature will rise. We did everything in our power to please the ***** family. Funeral services proceeded and remains and family processed to the cemetery. At the cemetery the committal was held, the family was asked to proceed back to their vehicles so that the grave attendants can close the grave. They were not forced back to their vehicles. Children were running around the grave and bumping the casket (safety concern) At no time was anyone mistreated or violated in any way. Our staff was told not to release any information to Mrs. ***** *****. All policies were followed.

      My mother was picked up by this funeral home without my knowledge or consent! I told the nursing home she should not be picked up until I got there. I am an only child and no one has the right to move my mother! When asked can I see my mom, I was told no.

      First and foremost , the statements are untrue. We were more than professional with the **************** and the ********* family. When the call came in regarding the death of ***************************** at 5:00am on February 25, 2024. **************** was notified by from the facility. The facility stated that they could hold ********************** until 2:00pm that afternoon to give him time to get there for ************, ** to see his mother. ***************************** has a power of attorney and payee on file. With that being said, all information and arrangements are in the hands of the power of attorney. ********************** reached out several times in regards to documentation in her file at the funeral home and it was sent to him via email. Financial records due to privacy laws are not given out. Insurance information is not given out. As for **************** not being the beneficiary or power of attorney, those documents could not be released. From my knowledge, this may be the issue. At no time did **************** ask to see his mother at the funeral home. We would have more that obliged. **************** did sign off on the authorization to have his mother embalmed and did provide his identification. He was apart of the arrangements conference and was allowed any input. We are not sure of the issues he may be having with the family or power of attorney, but we were more that professional and respectful. Far as his mother being released to the funeral home and who gave permission that is an issue he needs take up with the facility. Which was stated to him on previous calls. **************** has spoke with the funeral director on several occasions and the only issue he had, was not having access to the insurance documents. **************** was never treated as an outsider and was properly made aware of all arrangements.
