Do not let this company anywhere near your residential concrete driveway and drainage projects! I hired Jones Construction to correct a drainage issue, replace a large segment of my residential driveway and sidewalk, and install underground drains seven months ago. Issues started from the beginning. First, while the driveway was being demoed, **** required that I pay 15% more for additional concrete he had underestimated. Then, the next day, the irrigation and drains stopped working. **** blamed the irrigation heads and the pool pump. However, after digging up ****'s work, we discovered the irrigation system was cut in two places, and ****'s crew just buried the cut pipes with a piece of pvc pipe on top, and the drains were installed incorrectly with the wrong slope. Five months later, a mess of concrete slag from the demo operation still stained the street in front of my house, which I paid to have it pressure washed off. ****, at the time the concrete was completed, left and claimed the rain would wash it away. Worse, they applied a white-colored reflective curing compound on the driveway (and the overspray in other places) without authorization and in violation of our HOA regulations. The white pigment has begun to degrade in patches and has become an eyesore. According to the manufacturer, it is only to be used in industrial projects, is environmentally hazardous and can only be removed with specialized projects at great expense. Trying to find a contractor to remove it, **** now denies he applied the product at all. **** took the money and ran, and made no effort to repair or take responsibility for any of the damages they caused to my property. The website claims the business is reputable, though my experience has been otherwise.
