I hired ************************* to repair a leak in my house. He was negligent with the repairs making the leak even worse and refused to return and finish. He had to have seen what needed to be repaired when he removed the door and vinyl siding. The repairs.were inadequate and actually made the leak worse. He became belligerent with me and refused to return and finish the job. I paid him $3000 in cash. I am asking for $4500 refund because I had t o pay another guy to rip out his shotty workmanship and do it correctly. This picture shows what ***************** had to have seen when he removed the patio door. It was taken by another handyman I had to hire to complete the project. ***************** also would have seen the damaged and rotted plywood when he removed the vinyl siding underneath the patio door. Additional pictures show where he failed to properly reinstall the patio door and seal underneath the kickplate. Additional pictures show ********************* failure to reinstall the vinyl siding correctly. You can see the vinyl sagging underneath because he failed to remove and replace the damaged plywood underneath. He had to see this damage from the saggihg vinyl. Additional pictures show the leak inside the bedroom which is much worse at this point due to his negligence and refusal to return to fix and complete the repairs. ***************** tried to make repairs by adding additional lumber, a water diverter and added plastic flashing rather than metal flashing which is commonly used in this type repair. I am asking for a full refund i paid ***************** because he not only failed to diagnose and fix the repair properly and actually made my problem worse and ultimately made the repairs more costly than it should have been due to the 2nd handyman having to rip out ********************* inferrior work and conduct the repair properly.
