      This occurred on 12/28/2023. On this date the amount listed in the complaint( $375.35) was paid to this company. However I received a call from a representative ( ***********************) telling me that the amount on my receipt from them ( Johnson Insurance Management Company) was incorrect due to a piece of faulty equipment, that sometimes malfunctioned. It was also stated to me that I had less than 5 days to pay an additional ($100.00) or my insurance would be cancelled. I no longer desire to deal with this company responsible for insuring my car. However I feel something should be done by the company with reference to the monies I invested to cover my car. I feel like they should not have used something to collect monies that *** very well not be working as it should. If Johnson Insurance Management Company is allowed to get away with such practices any representative could call clients and say anything is owed. The representative *********************** also stated they were in the process of getting a reliable way of taking payments. This was told to me after my money was already deducted.

      The insured was advised how much was owed.  When the payment was processed, $100 less was processed on their card.  We advised the insured that $100 less that the payment was charged to the card.  This was an oversight, but the insured knew the amount due.  She refused to pay what she owed so due to the oversight, the agency paid the $100 on behalf of the insured in good faith.  The insured proceeded to file this complaint, which is within her right to do, but has experienced no damages and the agency kept the insured whole. 

      We consider this matter closed.
