      Business Response

      Date: 05/12/2025

      To Whom It May Concern,
Thank you for providing us the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed against United Business Compliance, LLC. We take these matters very seriously and are committed to ensuring clarity, transparency, and integrity in the services we offer.
United Business Compliance, LLC is a private third-party service provider. We assist business owners in obtaining documentation such as Certificates of Good Standing or Statusdocuments often required when applying for business bank accounts, loans, or fulfilling corporate compliance needs. At no point do we present ourselves as a government agency. In fact, our website, order forms, and customer communications clearly state that we are not affiliated with any government entity and that our services are entirely optional.
Before completing an order, all users must acknowledge and agree to our terms, which specify that:
Our company is not a government agency.
The services offered are convenience-based and optional.
These same documents may be obtained independently from the state, typically at a lower cost.
The document and link referenced in the complaint (***************************************************) contain this language prominently to ensure users are fully informed before placing any order.
Additionally, if a customer has completed an order and has not yet received their certificate, we ask that they reach out to us directly via the support email listed on our website. We are committed to resolving such issues promptly and professionally.
We remain open to resolving any misunderstanding and will gladly assist the customer further. If the individual would prefer a refund or has any additional concerns, we encourage them to contact our support team so we can address the matter accordingly.
      Sincerely,

      Customer Answer

      Date: 05/13/2025

I am rejecting this response because:
      To Whom It May Concern,
Thank you for the response from United Business Compliance. However, while the company claims to include disclaimers and transparency, the actual design, language, and format of the letter I received are clearly intended to mimic official state communications, including:
Use of terms like Document Number, Response Date, and Certificate of Status Request Form
Layout resembling a mandatory compliance notice
Inclusion of a pre-addressed envelope and a QR code for immediate payment
Absence of any prominent, clear disclaimer on the front of the letter indicating that this is not a government-required filing
The fact that disclaimers exist in fine print or buried in terms and conditions does not negate the misleading presentation. This type of communication exploits the inexperience of new business owners and relies on confusion and perceived urgency to drive unnecessary payments.
This is not a matter of misunderstandingthis is a calculated solicitation strategy designed to resemble official government correspondence and elicit responses under false pretenses.
I maintain that this practice is deceptive and should be subject to regulatory review. Also I want my money back.
      Sincerely, *******
