    This complaint is filed against Maersk Line, a company with multiple BBB profiles almost all with an "F" rating due to a failure to respond to customer complaints. This lack of transparency and multiple profiles suggests potential attempts to avoid accountability for customer issues.On June 16, 2023, I shipped two items via Maersk (formerly *********************** to my Amazon FBA warehouse. The shipment was never delivered, resulting in significant financial losses exceeding $60,000.Maersk has issued a payment for this claim, however, the amount received not only does not cover the actual value of the lost items but also no damages whatsoever, including:* Value of Lost Items: $8,193.29 * Lost Items Value: $6,498.00 * Shipping Fees: $1,695.29 Amount Paid by Maersk: $1,840.86 Outstanding Balance: $6,352.43 * Consequential Damages: * Shipping and handling * Tax * Lost Sales Revenue: * Storage Fees: * Interest on Lost Funds: After Maersks year and half long failure to make me whole, I called Maersk multiple times informed them verbally of my claim, and at their request, I filed what they call a rebuttal with the same request on 12/03/2024 with Maersk and requested Maersk to either pay or respond within 14 days. As of this complaint, Maersk has ignored my requests. Furthermore, Maersk denied my claim for full compensation, citing the lack of additional insurance. I believe I was not adequately informed about the need for additional insurance and that Maersk is liable for the full value of the lost items under the ******* Amendment.I request that Maersk:* Reimburse me for the full value of the lost items ($6,498.00) and associated shipping fees ($1,695.29).* Reimburse me for consequential damages incurred due to the lost shipment.

    Below is a response from your company regarding my complaint. I filed a claim and they are denying to take accountablbity for damages with your partnering company. I had a fridge delivered on May 1 or 2nd and your deleivery company Pilot damaged my exsisting fridge. The pilot said they did not do it, but they did and no evidence was shown otherwise they didnt. My claim was closed, no paperwork shown, no paperwork given, no proof claim was filed, and I have requested all that paperwork. I have no reason to say a company damaged my fridge and they didnt. They moved my fridge and then damaged it, dented it and refused to give me their company information to file a complaint. I want my fridge repaired ASAP.Good morning *******, the company I work with is a pilot last mile at a *************** That is what I say on the phone calls and it is on my email. We are a third party logistics company. The delivery company (haulers) are contactarced here with Pilot. Pilot has a contract with ****** to make the deliveries to their customers.
