1 starDear Better Business Bureau,I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the company Medshift and their handling of my recent ********** are the details of the issue: Company Name: Order Number: MS33442 Date of Order: May 13, 2025 I placed a pre-order with Medshift based on the price they publicly advertised. After completing the order and payment, the company informed me that due to supplier cost increases, they would now be charging nearly double the original price.I responded to their notice, requesting that they honor the original price since the order had been placed in good faith. Rather than working with me or offering an acceptable resolution, Medshift unilaterally decided to cancel my order and issue a refund, without my consent or agreement.I believe this handling is unfair, unprofessional, and demonstrates poor business practices.Consumers should be able to rely on the prices advertised and the agreements they enter into at the time of purchase. Retroactively changing terms and canceling confirmed orders sets a concerning precedent.I am seeking formal documentation of this complaint and hope that Medshift will be advised to review and improve their customer service and sales practices. Ideally, I would like the company to honor the original price, or at least provide a more meaningful resolution than simply canceling the order. Please let me know if you require any additional details, documentation, or correspondence related to this issue.Review fromJam L

1 starBBB Review for MedShift ? 1 Star Warning: MedShift Uses Deceptive Business ********************** Legal Tactics I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with MedShift to proceed with extreme caution. My experience with them has been nothing but misleading sales tactics, unfair contract terms, and bad faith legal maneuvers.?? ********* ************* Promises MedShift sales **** misrepresent pricing, product quality, and return policies. They make their devices seem superior to industry leaders but fail to deliver on their claims.?? Unfair Contract Traps Their contracts are designed to benefit MedShift, not the customer. They fail to clearly disclose long-term obligations and make it impossible to return devices without major financial consequences.?? Bad Faith ****************** Ambushes MedShift waits months or years before suddenly claiming money is owed, even after accepting returns of unused devices. They then use aggressive legal tactics, including serving lawsuits improperly, to push default judgments against unsuspecting businesses. If you are considering purchasing from MedShift, read every contract carefully, get a lawyer to review the terms, and be prepared for legal headaches. There are far better companies in the industry that operate with transparency and integrity.?? Avoid MedShift if you want to protect your business.---Medshift

This individual is the defendant in a legal action we filed for breach of contract, as he entered into a contract with Medshift to lease aesthetic devices he had selected but he failed to fulfill the contract. Medshift recently was awarded summary judgment in the case, meaning that the court found that Medshift's complaint was valid and that this individual did not have a valid defense. Info on the case prior to the judgment can be found here: ***********************************************************************************************************. This individuals complaints about Medshift were not found valid in court, and it seems that he has decided to use the BBB forum where he believes he can make the same complaints without consequence.Additionally, this individual is currently serving a sentence for ******** fraud and scheduled for release in July 2025: **************************************************************************************************************************************************. He previously was convicted and served time for steroid distribution and money laundering: ********************************************************************************************** individual also makes several errors in his complaint on your forum, such as stating that Medshift made sales claims; Medshift is a financing and leasing company who does not have a sales force. His sales process was through a manufacturer's sales **** who then asked Medshift to agree to purchase the device on this person's behalf and lease it to him. He agreed to a contract which explicitly laid out the terms of the lease, and his business entered into the contract. He decided that his business should not live up to the contract, and Medshift exercised our right to pursue a legal claim. We believe it would be inappropriate for this individual to use the BBB forum to make outlandish claims which a court found baseless.Jam L

MedShifts response conveniently ignores the reality of how they obtained their temporary judgmentthrough bad faith litigation and improper service, not on the actual merits of the case. This judgment is being challenged, and once it is overturned, the real facts will be addressed in court, where MedShifts misconduct will be exposed.Key Facts MedShift Ignores:1?? Failure to Follow Their Own Contract MedShift repossessed unused, unopened devices but did not follow their own contractual procedures regarding notice, cure periods, or financial obligations at the time of retrieval. They cannot selectively enforce terms they failed to follow themselves.2?? Misrepresentations by Their Sales Process If MedShift now claims that sales misrepresentations were made by the manufacturers ***** that is something I first brought to their attention when I attempted to return the equipment. Rather than address this, they took back the equipmentagain, without following their contract proceduresand only resurfaced 18+ months later with a lawsuit based on bad faith claims.3?? Bad Faith ***** Tactics MedShift deliberately delayed asserting any financial claim for nearly two years, then attempted to secure a default judgment by improperly serving an outdated address, despite having my correct contact information. This is not the conduct of a reputable company; its an attempt to win through procedural manipulation, not legal merit.MedShift can attempt to smear my background, but the truth is that their business operates through deception, contractual manipulation, and aggressive legal ambushes. Once the court properly reviews their actions, this case will be overturned. Stay away from MedShift if you want to protect your business.---Jam L

Furthermore, at the time of pickup, I believed I had finalized a return with MedShift. Their employee, *** *******, personally thanked me as we completed the process, and I even deleted a ****** review in good faith. Given that:MedShift never asserted any balance due before, during, or after pickup. The machines were unopened, unused, and could be resold at full retail value.MedShift failed to follow their own contract procedures when reclaiming the devices.I had every reason to consider this a successful and completed return. Yet, 18+ months later, they resurfaced with a lawsuit, ignoring their own contractual obligations and attempting to weaponize the legal system for financial gain.Additionally, during my recent hearing (where my lawyer stood in for me), there were four other MedShift cases on the docket. This isnt an isolated incidentits a pattern. MedShift preys on businesses with deceptive agreements, fails to follow its own rules, and then ambushes people with lawsuits. This is not a company that operates with integrity. They are predatory, dishonest, and should be avoided at all costs.Jam L

Open Letter to MedShift Subject: Open Letter to MedShift Request to Drop Bad Faith ***** Dear MedShift Leadership,I am writing this open letter to formally address the bad faith litigation tactics your company has employed against me and to demand that you immediately drop your meritless claim.Your entire case hinges on a default summary judgment that was only obtained because I was incarcerated and unable to responda fact you were well aware of when you pursued it. Had I been able to respond, your claim would have been thoroughly dismantled due to the overwhelming evidence against you. Here are the key facts:1. Your Own Employee Acknowledged That the Machines Were Returned Unopened, with No Mention of Any Balance Owed On January 20, 2023, your employee *** ******* confirmed in writing that the three machines were picked up, explicitly stating they were "never before opened." This exchange, which I have documented, proves that:You accepted the returned equipment without asserting a balance ******** did not notify me of any financial obligation at the time of **************** created a reasonable expectation that this matter was resolved. This alone makes your claim invalid. If I had owed you money, why did your own employee confirm receipt without mentioning it?2. MedShift Violated Its Own Contractual Procedures Your End User Subscription Agreement (EUSA) requires you to:Provide written notice of default and a 15-day cure period before taking action.Assert a balance due at the time of repossession.Follow proper procedures when repossessing ************* did none of the above. Instead, you waited over 18 months before suddenly claiming I owed moneyconveniently after I was incarcerated and unable to respond.3. Your Lawyer Misled Me on July 11, 2024, and Then Rushed to Obtain a Default Judgment On July 11, 2024, your attorney assured me that a follow-up discussion would take place. Instead of acting in good faith, you went silent and then aggressively pushed for default judgment while I was incarcerated as of July 30, 2024. This is a clear case of:Bad faith litigation tactics.Fraudulent inducement.A deliberate attempt to deny me the ability to defend myself. If your case had any actual merit, you wouldnt have needed to mislead me and exploit my inability to respond.4. Your Case is Based on Unreasonable Delay and **************** You waited ***** months before claiming a balance was owed, despite having ample opportunity to assert it at the time of **************** attempted service at an outdated address, despite having my correct address since at least December ******** failed to notify me properly, violating basic due process standards.5. I Will Not Settle, but I Am Willing to Remove My Reviews If This ***** is Dropped Immediately Let me be clear: I will not pay you anything. Your claim is entirely without merit, and I am fully prepared to continue fighting this in court. However, if you drop this case immediately and formally acknowledge that I owe nothing, I will remove my public reviews and cease any further exposure of MedShifts business practices. If you refuse, I will continue exposing your deceptive tactics across multiple platforms, ensuring that anyone considering doing business with MedShift understands how you ************* Warning You obtained this judgment only because I was unable to respond due to incarcerationnot because your case had any merit. Now that I am actively fighting back, your position is crumbling. You can either:Drop the claim now and have this resolved quietly, or Continue down this path and suffer the legal, reputational, and financial consequences of dragging this into a public battle. The choice is yours.Sincerely,***** ******
