    Hired Hector and Sons despite the moving quote being higher than was advertised. Thats NOT my issue. Thats just an aside that they falsely advertise rates. It was July 4th weekend and I needed a mover. They showed up (after confirming the day prior) an hour late with the tiniest truck ever, so I was stuck paying for two moves. They damaged an art piece and my expensive leather sectional. One of the movers used my new bathroom with no soap and continued touching my stuff. I had a lot of other stressful personal issues going on, and when *** reached out from the company about experience, I was honest and upfront. She offered NO refund only a 10 percent discount on a future move - no thanks. I then pushed for a small refund of $50 and got a snotty response that it was in the mail not once, but twice. Then I posted two negative reviews bc at this point I was definitely disappointed they wouldnt even give me $50 back (also note they refuse to accept anything but cash). One response was defensive, but the response to my Yelp review was downright hostile. At this point, Im worried for my personal safety as the people running this company clearly have some behavioral issues. Im in my 40s and I have NEVER HAD a company respond to any issue with such hostility. They either ignore it or make some effort to make it right. I would like a 50 percent refund (a real one, not a fake one) at this point. And I want to go on record that I feel personally unsafe dealing with this company moving forward. This kind of defensiveness and hostility over their mistakes and lies about a mere $50 refund cannot be allowed.
