      Piedmont natural gas charging me for therms in summer months.

      Inconsistent billing and mailing, resulting in increased fees for the consumer. **************** is very rude and uninformative. I recently had my service disconnected prematurely and without a listed reason on the supplied paper left on my door (all check boxes left blank). From a $15.38 charge I am now required to pay $332.09 to reinstate my service. Again this was done without proper warning AND prematurely. Piedmont Natural Gas is a monopoly in ********** ** and they know it. Fees are outrageous and unable to be explained when asked.

      Piedmont Natural Gas Company charged me ****** for a bill that was less then ***** dollars on my bank account and when I called twice I was told I had to wait for a check to be sent to me !! They care nothing about the fact that it was an error on they part and the fact I told them I have several checks out to pay my bills all they care about is the fact they have my money and cant credit my account back of ****** which they should not have taken in the first place so now all my checks going to bounce because of piedmont natural gas error !! I asked about whos going to take care of the fact that Im going to have NSF charges not they problem !! I was to it can take up to five days to get a check in the mean while its nothing they can do
