My senior dog had a medical emergency while being groomed here and they continued grooming him. When I got there they told me theyd noticed that something was wrong, and I had to go straight to the *** I am still in shock at how unprofessional and inhumane this was. Both the ** vet and regular vet told me they believed this issue was caused by the groomer. When I spoke to the Dog Salon they took zero accountability for the situation and stated that they thought it was a pre-existing issue, which doesnt even matter. If you know a dog is having an issue you should call the owner immediately. I would never recommend leaving your dog in these negligent hands.

We value all feedback and, in this instance, we believe it's important to provide some context to your review. The situation you're referring to took place 9 months ago, and we haven't had the opportunity to serve you since. This review, coming out of the blue, should be considered within its appropriate context.First and foremost, our detailed notes indicate that prior to receiving any services, the dog was dropped off showing an irritation to his sanitary area. At no fault of the groomer, the irritation worsened due to him excessively licking himself. As soon as we noticed something was wrong, we contacted you immediately. At the time you were understanding, and within five minutes, your dog was picked up. Within the limitations of a dog grooming facility, isolating him in a kennel for those five minutes was the safest option. We want to stress that senior care is of the utmost importance to us. Your review could potentially mislead other senior pet parents in our community. We strongly believe that we offer the highest quality services to senior dogs in the **************. We encounter numerous senior dogs every day, and many of their owners can attest to the level of care and attention we provide. The well-being and safety of our senior furry clients are top priorities, and we remain fully committed to maintaining these standards.
