I must tell any prospective students to please consider other schools. Huge waste of ************* Appalled by the treatment from the *********************** for not communicating/rectifying the situation properly. My background is health science, I am disgusted by treatment at this school. Feared for my **************** Had to drop the class.Take notice of NO Sink in Lab room for proper hand hygiene. Only Hand Sanitizer. Microbiology taught me to know better.I dropped the class because I have limits. In a 3way lab partnership, and I watched student A stick student B; way too deep, she was visibly uncomfortable. Teacher did nothing. On my turn with student student A, and I too was uncomfortable with the depth. My body tensed, the teacher told me to relax. After deep breaths, I told student A that the needle didnt need to be so deep. The teacher told me he would address the issue after the draw. The outcome was a hematoma and fear. Next class I felt very unsettled. I quieted my thoughts; we were switching ************* was ok. Turns out, same partners. I talked to the teacher about my concern & I told him NO to lab if student ******* of reassuring me things would be different. He told me, student A needs ************** let him stick you again today, or you can just go home. No teacher disregards my *************** concerns.7 week program with 6 weeks of instruction & the 7th week is externship. "We'll let you know if you get a refund in a month. Nope 58% of this class taken by their count." BUT, consider the teacher let us out 1 Hr early each class period, only 40% of class. REFUND DENIED Let school know I was going to review them. Then they let me know I can start from where I left off. I work & rearranged schedule to accommodate this class. Proactively trying to rectify the situation when it occurred would have been good. **************** = Awful. Please consider alternatives - Your health, safety, ***************** will be more respected elsewhere.
