My initial complaint ( AZ complaint ******** ) led me to file a complaint with the National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries (NACFF) regarding our now fired financial adviser **** P ***** who was not acting in a fiduciary manner. Mr ***** is certified through this organization and I completed NACFF form for complaint against a certified financial fiduciary in May 2024. According to their complaint policy, it states the chairperson will review the complaint within 30 days of receipt to determine whether a review committee should be convened and a recommendation made within 60 days. I have sent multiple e-mails that have been received asking about the status of this complaint but still have not received any resolution. I would like to know where my case stands regarding this financial advisor.

The National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries (NACFF) acknowledges the concerns raised by Dr. ****** regarding his complaint about one of our Certified Financial Fiduciaries, Mr. **** P. *****. We understand the importance of resolving these matters promptly and sincerely apologize for any delays Dr. ****** has experienced in receiving updates on the status of his complaint.

We take every complaint seriously and follow a structured process to ensure a thorough review and fair resolution. We appreciate Dr. ******* patience and his willingness to bring this matter to our attention.

Upon receiving Dr. ******* complaint in May 2024, NACFF initiated our standard complaint review process. This includes a comprehensive examination by a review committee to assess compliance with our Code of Conduct and fiduciary standards. Due to organizational adjustments and enhancements to our internal procedures, our response time has been longer than we would have liked, and we regret any inconvenience this has caused Dr. **************** November 11, 2024, we reached out directly to Dr. ****** to offer additional support and discuss alternative options for addressing his concerns. We have also convened a formal review committee, which will hold its initial meeting on November 14, 2024. Dr. ****** will be updated promptly following this meeting, and we are committed to maintaining open communication with him throughout each stage of the review process.

NACFF is dedicated to continuous improvement and to ensuring that all our designees adhere to the highest professional standards. We appreciate Dr. ******* trust in bringing this matter forward and are committed to addressing his concerns fully and transparently.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. As long as our concerns are followed up on and my wife and I are kept apprised  of the decisions made regarding the financial advisor implicated in this complaint.

    Thank you.
