      Summary of Issue with Charter1Foods:On July 9, 2024, I (** ******) requested a refund of $500 for my child ***** ******** school meals. ***** was approved for the free lunch program, so the balance in his MealManage account should have been refunded.On August 1, 2024, *** ******* from Charter1Foods responded, confirming ***** would be credited once the school provided the list of eligible students. She also mentioned a transition to ********* Apps, requiring me to set up an account ******** September 16, 2024, I followed up on the refund, and *** ******* confirmed the refund would be processed once eligibility was confirmed.On March 3, 2025, *** ******* informed me that a Zelle payment was mistakenly sent to the wrong number. She apologized and promised to send the refund within the week.On March 4, 2025, I confirmed my Zelle number as ********** for the ********* April 14, 2025, after receiving no update, I escalated the issue by sending a final request to *** ******* and copying ******** ******** the Associate Head of School. I asked for the refund to be issued within 7 business days or I would escalate the matter further.On April 17, 2025, *** ******* acknowledged the issue, stating she was working with Charter1Foods to resolve it. However, by April 21, 2025, I had still received no response from *** ******** prompting me to follow up again with *** *******.I have yet to receive the refund and feel this mishandling reflects poorly on Charter1Foods. I am now filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) for the delayed refund and poor service.
