    10/30/2024 - Closed on refinance of home including funds paid to title company, Boston National Title, to be dispersed to the Mecklenburg County Tax Collector 12/7/2024 - Received notice from ****************** that taxes were unpaid 12/7/2024 - Reached out to Boston National Title via email, no response 12/9/2024 - Reached out to Boston National Title via phone and spoke to ***** ******. They claim check was mailed on/around 10/30 but it was sent to the wrong address and returned. A new check was sent to the correct address on 11/28 (a federal holiday) and was showing as uncashed. They stopped payment on 12/9/2024 and issued a new check. Said check was originating in ****************** to be sent to ******************. 12/9/2024 - *************** (the lender) reached out to Boston National Title by email, no response 12/13/2024 - Property taxes still show as unpaid. Reached out to Boston National Title by email, phone and *************** reached out, no response. 12/13/2024-12/16/2024 - Reached out by email and phone to over a dozen Boston National Title employees. None provided a response. Over $8300 remains in their possession nearly 50 days after closing on the transaction. I am unable to speak to anyone directly. Interest will begin accruing on the taxes in a couple weeks if they remain unpaid.

    Good Morning 

    We did receive the call from the consumer. We escalated the issue and resolved the issue 12/16/20204. Taxes were paid and proof of payment provided to the consumer. I followed up with the consumer this morning 12/17/2024 and verified the issue was resolved.

    Failed to post my money 36K into my bank account as promised on delivery date.

    We did review the file and verified that the monies in fact were wired to the correct account and we verified they were received. We do not see that any further action is needed reference the timely receipt of funds that were due and paid on 12/16/2024
