  Well pleased with the work, United Water operations manager ***** *. Was on site within an hour of my call in. And his on call technician **** they were both Courteous and knowledgeable. I had a great experience with united water.

  From the first phone call to ****, everyone was extremely courteous, professional, knowledgeable and sincere! We were referred to **** by the plumber were hired, Mecklenburg Plumbing, who highly recommended UWRG. We called on a Wednesday about our water leak issues and they were at our doorstep promptly the following morning! Couldn't ask for anything more!****** *********, who performed the remediation, was phenomenal and a true professional! He was extremely efficient, sincere, and engaging! He thoroughly explained the remediation process and what to expect. To say the least, it was an experience that exceeded our expectations!! We would be more than happy to be a referral for UWRG if anyone needing remediation work and would like to know, firsthand, the experience we encountered and experienced!In addition, ***** ********* and ***** ****** were extremely professional, courteous and engaging as ****************** NC

  On January 9, ****, we experienced what we now know was a 25-year rain. Unfortunately, our entire basement flooded with rising waters at a rate we could not control. Water entry began at approximately 2 pm. We were unhinged! Once we realized we were handcuffed to the situation, we started processing, How are we getting this water out of here? After several phone calls and a ******** post, one of our sweet friends mentioned United Water Restoration Group. The owner was a patient of hers, and she highly recommended his company. I called immediately, and *** answered. In less than two hours, he and his team arrived at our home and instantly started extracting the water. They lifted our furniture onto protective footings, rolled up rugs, immediately brought in ten drying fans, and three industrial-sized dehumidifiers. They did it with the utmost care and efficiency. The entire team was amazingly professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. Equipment was clean and powerful. It took more than a week to dry out. Every single day, someone from their team either called or stopped by to check on the progress. I can honestly say, our story would have had a much different result had it not been for this companys promptness and attention to detail. We are entirely grateful that water was only an issue for a matter of a few hours - thanks to this fantastic company. We cannot sing their praises enough - they are saved as FAVORITES in our phone so that we can recommend them the same way it was paid forward to us! Thank you, ***, *****, *****, and the entire team. The ******* are forever grateful!

  We had a very positive experience working with this group. When our dishwasher was leaking and warping our floors, we turned to United Water for help with the water damage. They responded immediately and within just a couple of hours, they had a team out to assist. They put out several fans and dehumidifiers, and reassured us that nothing would be permanently damaged from the leak. In the end, our hardwoods were left completely unscathed and we avoided a major disaster. Their prompt response and effective measures prevented any lasting harm to our property. We are so appreciative! I highly recommend United Water for anyone dealing with water, fire, or mold restoration needs!

  We came home from a trip to find buckling wood flooring in our hall. Our friend *********************** works for United Water, she said this looked like a water issue and we should call the office, even though it was after hours. ************************* came to our house within about 30 minutes! He confirmed we had an issue, advised us to shut off the water unless we needed it. He was back the next day and traced the problem to a slow drip in the wall caused by some remodeling. He quickly fixed the problem and set up commercial drying equipment. He came back multiple times to check on the progress, did the mold mitigation, made sure we were happy. Phenomenal response from both ***** and ***!! Thanks to both you guys.***************************, Lake *****

  Thank you for the positive review. In many cases, a buckling floor is the first sign of water damage. A leaky pipe, a refrigerator line leak, a toilet overglow, can seem minor until you floors are buckling. If the pipe is is the wall, it is hard to know that it is leaking!! We are glad that we could be there quickly and remediate the water damage.

  I recently had an unfortunate experience with the United Water Restoration Group of Charlotte that I believe warrants attention. Though we sought their services expecting professionalism and ethical billing practices, our experience was far from satisfactory. The industry norm for drying a house is roughly 3 days, yet United Water kept their drying machines at our residence for a staggering 30 days without a clear rationale. This not only seemed unnecessary but also led to a bill exceeding our insurance coverage now we owe over $6000. I remain deeply disheartened by their approach. It's unsettling to think that companies might exploit homeowners during their vulnerable moments. The issue extends beyond the financial settlement and touches upon ethical conduct. I strongly caution prospective clients to consider other options that uphold industry standards and ethical billing. It's crucial to prioritize the safety of your home and finances, and unfortunately, our experience with United Water didn't uphold that principle.

  These customers are the worst people we have ever dealt with. We responded to their water emergency on Christmas day. I personally took the call on Christmas day for their flooded home. Simply put,, they decided not to pay us. They said we charged too much. We charge the same price for two Doctors who have a multi million dollar home on Lake ****** as we do for anyone else. They accused us of charging more because their neighbor has a helicopter. We didn't know and don't care that their neighbor has a helicopter. They screamed at our office staff.. We cut their bill in half to make this go away. They told us if we insisted on being paid the remaining reduced amount that they would give us a 1 star review. They did. I am just seeing this BBB complaint now. This is the first time in 6 years that we involved an attorney to collect the 50% offer we made, approximately $7,000. We help people. We are kind. We are respectful. We expect the same treatment.

  If I could give 100 stars, I would! I had water damage on July 3rd of this year. After removing the water from the floor, I thought I was done... until I went to my garage and noticed water dripping from the ceiling. At that point, I knew I was in trouble. I went to ******* and UWRG was the first hit I saw. Panicking and with high anxiety, I called the number. I spoke with *** (owner), who was lovely, sweet, and reassuring. About 30 minutes-1 hour later, *** and ***** were at my house to assess the damage. I explained how I worried about my garage as the water dripped from my ceiling. After using the infrared technology, *** informed me that I would need to claim as there was damage to my garage ceiling. Without UWRG, I would've given up on the process. I had to file a complaint with the ************************** Commission (thanks to UWRG for the tip) as the adjuster wanted to pay 50% of the mitigation cost. To be clear, the mitigation cost was for the emergency work that UWRG had to do to remove the water damage. I had humidifiers running for ten days to dry out my walls. Mitigation costs are COVERED LOSSES. This means your home insurance company HAS to pay this cost. After filing my complaint, UWGR received 100% of the covered loss payment. ************ of UWRG was so helpful in my time of need. Whenever I was highly stressed or anxious (whenever I thought of this situation), she would calm me down and provide pointers on how to mitigate the numerous issues. I hope none of you reading this review have to deal with water damage or any loss to your home. If you do, I would HIGHLY suggest having UWRG be your representative to get your home back to its original state. Without UWRG, my home would still be a disaster. I cannot thank them enough for guiding me through this horrible process.

  Thank you for this endorsement. This insurance company and adjuster refused to fully reimburse a covered loss. In the last few months, the lower tier insurance companies have become exceptionally difficult as they are trying to reduce cost and not pay valid insurance claims. All companies are experiencing labor shortages and close escalations including insurance companies. Some claim adjusters and/or insurance companies are illegally denying coverage or underpaying on valid claims. They perform illegal acts possibly because they do not know any better, or possibly to bully customers and restoration companies into not fully paying out on valid claims. In this case, our customer partnered to fully reimburse her covered loss. She made calls, sent emails, made a complaint to the ********** of ********** so that the company was forced to fully reimburse her covered loss. Our collection department, partnered with her and spent many hours to get this accomplished. My advice-- always hire a quality restoration company that can support you as a customer. Do not hire a low cost provide insurance company or restoration company. You get what you pay for. If you are in the unfortunate situation of having to enforce your rights under your insurance policy, get active and engaged. The invoice from any restoration company is your responsibility to pay. It is your responsibility to make sure your insurance company pays you, it is your policy and your right. Partner with your high quality restoration company to make this happen. If you can fully pay your bill, pay it and submit it to your insurance company. They are required to reimburse you for a valid covered incurred loss.
