  I used *********** to rent 4 jet skis. *********** sent my request to ***************************** of ********************. I am very disappointed with both of these businesses. ******** would not allow her jet skis to go to the house on Lake ****** She wanted to tow the jet skis in and out of an area. This was after a 30 minute discussion sitting out in the middle of the lake while I am at house wondering what is going on. She gets towed to the house trying to explain that she was not allowing her jet skis to come through. An hour was spent with her sitting on one of the jet skis telling me I could not cancel because she came out with them. I asked her to just charge me for an hour. She refused that too. She did refund a little over ****** out ********. I rented the jet skis for 4 hours. One I never even rode because she was riding it. The other 3 were ridden for 20 minutes. From the dock landing to the middle of the lake then back to the dock. *********** was no help in the situation. I personally will never use either one of them again when I visit Lake ***** again.

  Hello, Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, Funtime Water Sports is not responsible to tow any jet skis to a location. Our only requirement is to provide jet skis to the location provided by the client. In this case, *********************** was my client not *************************. I previously spoke with **************** to the booking to schedule the skies to be delivered to the landing 12 minutes drive from her lake house as her rental house booked did not have a private landing. We also spoke about additional services to help those riding on the water for assistance to navigate on the water to the lake house. Unfortunately when arriving about 30 feet from the lake house myself as well as 5 other people from wendys party were not able to pass through a channel of water as it was filled with branches, dirt, grass and debri. The water was also less than 2 feet which is unsafe for riders to ride through. Upon instructions wendys husband tried to pass through the channel and immediately the jet ski started to squirt out pure black water. This indicted that it was unable to ride through. I suggested we walk the jet skis through as it was walkable but no one wanted to walk them through. I then suggested we use 2 other jet skis to tow the remaining four to the lake house. We were able to tow one jet ski and then another which was the one I was riding. My intentions were to arrive to the house and offer a solution possibly everyone meet back at the landing and travel 10 minutes by car to continue the rental or even an extra free hour but instead I was met with ignorance, no patience and no understanding. I was told they were going to leave the jet skis in the middle of the water. I then proceeded to agree that we can go ahead and cancel but unfortunately the time starts at the landing not when the jet skis reach the rental house. This is the same for every rental. The time starts once someone takes possession of skis. Because they did not use the full time I called the app to adjust the price from **** to 660 to only charge for 3 jet skis for 2.5 hours. ***** was a deal as the original price should have been ****. I did not offically receive payment until may 21, 2023 and the rental took place on may 13, 2023. I arrived at 2:00 pm to south point boat ramp landing and we did not get back to landing until 5:00 pm. The price for 1 jet ski per hour is $85 and $50 for 30 minutes. She recieved 3 jet skis from 2 :00 pm to 5:00 pm. I also explained to the client that even if she never took possession my cancelation policy day of is still 20% I would've still got $220. On top of what I charge the app charges an additional 7.5% service fee which is why it came out to **** in the first place. I only dealt with ***********************. I did not handle anyone else's funds. I also never received funds from ***** directly. I recieved payment from ********* app. I also had proof of pictures to show why the channel was dangerous to ride through as well as pictures of with time stamped proof of when we left the landing at 2:56 pm to leaving the lake house around 4:46 pm. ***** tried to lie and say she never received the skis and the app decided to take my side because I told the truth and had proof for my claim. I was also illegally recorded by ****** but they refuse to show footage because it would discredit their claim. I apologize that your lake house was not in the ideal space to enjoy the jet skis but it is not Funtime Water Sports service to tow jet skis to a lake house. We were simply offering to help assist navigate on the water but was unable to pass without issues. We have serviced over 100 clients and unfortunately you were the first family to be displeased. I apologize for this situation. In the future an accurate location in advance and possibly a canvass of the water would help rectify this from happening again.
