    I had a reservations I arrived at days inn in Cherokee NC and the manager cancelled it for no reason I've tried to get answers from management with no response I would appreciate any help

    We apologize that the property did not meet the guest's expectations of our brand's high standard of guest service. The property has resolved the situation with the guest via a refund for the difference in the amount of the original reservation refund of $22.21.  Please allow 3-5 business days to see that on your account.

    I am rejecting this response because: I'm happy that the hotel is doing the right thing and giving me the difference in my reservation however I feel that the hotel manager needs to be spoken to about his conduct and I feel I was discriminated against this situation should never happen to someone

    Our brands are committed to assuring that all of its properties provide great service and quality accommodations. This guests comments have made us aware of an instance when one of our properties did not meet a valued customers expectations. 

    We regret that the guest had to contact you and our office regarding their concerns with the property. Each property is independently owned and operated under a franchise. This means that the propertys management is responsible for meeting brand standards and for day-to-day operations.

    After thorough review, we feel the best resolution will be achieved by direct communication between the property management and the guest. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    September 2nd 2023 My daughter reserved two rooms and provided a credit card of mine. My daughter *********, whose name was on the reservation cancelled one night online. The day before arrival ********* received an email confirming only one room was reserved; which I emailed that email to Day's Inn, per request of the manager.My granddaughter went to the hotel and paid with my bank card. No one called to okay the transaction with my bank card and Day's Inn used that card for ************ and charged the other room with the card on file at the time the reservation was made; which was not the same card my granddaughter used upon signing into Day's Inn.Again, no one from Day's Inn called to okay the charge with the card my granddaughter had. I have been talking to them since September 3rd when I realized what Day's Inn had charged on two different cards for two different rooms when one room had been cancelled.
