  Very unhappy with Carolina Duct and Crawl. I used them one time before to clean my vents. They cleaned my ducts and attempted to sell me an over priced mold remover for the inside unit. I told them I would just spray it with bleach myself. They cleaned the vents and left. I called them again to clean the vents at a rental property of mine. The *** told me they cant clean the vents without killing some white mold in the inside machine. Mold is black, not white. I told him I was selling the house and I did not want to put the astronomical amount of money to spray the white so called mold and asked him to just clean the vents like I had done in the past. They now claim they cant clean your vents unless they can spray the mold in the machine. They claim previous home owners complained about it disturbing the mold in the vents. This is a bunch of B.S. they dont want to clean vents anymore unless you spend thousands with them spraying the mold in the machine, dont waste your time calling them. They just wont do the vent only cleaning job. So throw away their coupon. Its worth nothing. Its a sales gimic now just to get into your home and sell you.

  Toy was my tech that came to do my duct cleaning. He did a fantastic job. However, after he left my air condition blower stopped working. I call and Toy arranged for someone to come out and fix the problem at no cost to me. Thanks again for the help.

  Came out months ago because of the ***** coupon like other reviewers. Magically we had mold like others doing this review, even though NOTHING was TESTED. ****** TO CLEAN AND "REMEDIATE". A local place came out the following week. Said it was "DIRT". ALL cleaned for $150.00.

  Carolina Duct and Craw regularly advertises in a mailing that comes to our house every couple of weeks. And so, when the time came to have the air ducts in our house cleaned, we turned first to them. I called and they proposed an appointment time--which made me think that time worked for them. But on the day of the appointment--at about the time of the appointment--they called and asked to reschedule for exactly a week later. When that day arrived, they called again claiming that two employees had called in sick. (The BBB lists Carolina Duct as having only one employee.) Could we reshedule for that afternoon? Once again, we agreed, but that afternoon brought yet another request to reschedule. "I have just had a call from my dispatcher," a woman's voice told me, "and they are not going to be able to make it to your house today." Dispatcher? What became of that "one employee" listing? This time I refused to reschedule. If they can't make it to the house, can they be trusted to clean the ducts properly? I'd recommend not using this company. Trying to deal with them is an exercise in frustration.

  We received a coupon in the mail for duct cleaning, ***** so we made a appointment. Two men arrived; one stated his Father owned the company. They set up to clean the ducts and went to the crawl space and returned and stated that we had major mold problems in the duct work in the entire house. And showed us pictures on a cell phone of our mold (that did not exist) That they needed to get rid of the mold before they cleaned the ducts.Gave us a written estimate for ******** to remove the mold and install a ultra violet light in the ductwork. Then they took a check for $50.00 for coming out and left.When the two men from Carolina ***************************** left I called another duct cleaning company who came out the next day, today. They found that we had NO MOLD in our ductwork and did not need "Mold Removal".Buyer Beware. Don't throw your money at these people.

  Today, 16 May, *** came out from Carolina Duct and Crawl. Fabulous!*** first explained what he would do. He did not use "jargon" but plain English. He was very good at explaining all he was going to do. 1st he looked and my system; then he showed me photos of all he would do. He was very respectful and kind. He did NOT treat me like a doddering old lady. His manner was knowledgeable and professional. He also showed me the mold that was accumulating in my system and gave me an estimate for that work. My sister and I can breathe better since *** was here. I hope he will come back when I can have the mold removal done

  The worst! Bait and Switch, dont use. Quotes $59.95 and then wanted to charge over $200.

  Our company Does Not Bait and Switch. You received a coupon in the mail for an exact amount of vents and returns to be cleaned for a Discounted price. Your system had more than the coupon covered. We then gave you an estimate to clean the rest of the system. You were not required to do the additional work. It is recommended to do the complete cleaning but not required. Typically homes range from $400-$1000 to clean their HVAC system.

  Had Carolina Duct and Crawl come out to clean my ducts. ****** did a fine job, I think (Will see how things shape up tomorrow as they just did it today). They did what they said they would do with one big exception. When the lead guy<, ****, went to inspect my crawl space as a free exam, he came back and told me I had mold under my house about 2 feet worth. I pressed him on that because I have never had such a problem. I then asked him to show it to me, and I went in the crawl space with him. When he could not find it to show me, he said he would have to take off another cover of my furnace. I asked how did he see it, he told me it was behind the covering of my furnace. Asked that he take a pic and show it to me. He never could but said "it was not bad enough, just keep an eye on it." That was a deliberate lie! I believe he never expected me, a senior citizen to go under the house with him, but I am glad I did. He had already prepared a bill for the removal of the supposed mold. If not for the lie, I would give a 4 star rating.
