      In July 2023 deposit of $9400 was made for work to convert a screened in porch to a year around sun room. Promise from First Choice Window Door and Deck was to start work in October 2023. All subsequent call to business were met with promises to start work but no action was forthcoming. We therefore asked said company to reduce work in hopes of breaking job into small pieces in hope of achieving some success. in Feb 2024 a small re-screening of porch ($1400) was completed by subcontractor with promise to complete remainder of work (Skylights, French Doors) to cover the $9400 originally provided. Since then no further work has been done, no calls returned and no refund for the balance of $7700. We have offered to cancel job and receive refund (via voice mail) so we can proceed with work by another contractor but with no response. We simply want refund (after nearly 11 months) so that we can close the issue.

      We contracted with First Choice Window and Deck in March of 2023. Its now October, and very little work has begun. Originally we didn't think we'd needed a permit. I understand and am willing to concede this delayed the project a bit. *********************, the owner has been barely reachable and lies to me or just ignores me about status updates on the project. We put an intial payment of 5000$ down. I have tried to reach **** anyway I could, but he will not give me any details on the project. The permit was picked up by me about 3 weeks ago. **** is aware of this and said"Great I'll get my team on it". Nothing has been done or planned. I have never been treated so poorly by a contractor. His partner ******* is almost as bad. You can't leave voice messages do to the box being full. We have been patient and understanding and have shown ****** All we wanted in return was a quality product and good communication. We have been provided with neither. We started to worry after we read many bad ****** reviews and knowing that (2) of our neighbors have had the same experience as we all contracted for his services around the same time. Now, yes we want our money back, but more importantly I don't want this guy to be able to do this to anyone else.

      Signed agreement on 01-23-2023 to build a 3 season room addition. Was told " 5-6weeks for windows and doors to come in". gave 1/3 down. 3 months later was told the parts had come in.4-23 a crew showed up and framed in the addition-(3 days).5-26 a diff. crew showed up and installed a set of doors that had been purchased locally (1day).No windows have arrived .Now on 9-1-23 we are left with an open framed room being exposed to rain and weather, 2 holes in the existing soffit able to let birds and pests into our attic, piles of debris and a ************************************ addition to not even having steps from the new "deck" to the ground.. we were told "30days " from the beginning of construction(at which point we paid another 1/3 down)to finish the job. It has now been 4 months since construction began and 8 months since first payment.Nothing has happened at all since 05-26-23 except for the many, many, many unfulfilled promises made by the Owner that they would get right on this and wrap it up.I don't want my money back, we want the job finished as per our agreement. We are ready willing and able to pay the final 1/3 payment on completion as per the agreement. We only want job performance and to warn other, potential customers of the deceitful business practices being used by First Choice Windows Doors and Deck.If needed I have full text message transcripts and notes of each of our meetings including those with the Sales manager .A Timely completion of this project will resolve any and all issues at this point.
