  BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH *********************** AND TOP NOTCH CONSTRUCTION.Once ****** gets most of your money for the project he will quit the job and leave you scrambling to finish the rest of it on your own and to find other companies and carpenters to do the work, all at your expense, Including all the inspections and purchase of materials etc. H*** blow through all of the money you paid him to buy materials and pay *************************** then claim hes broke and cant finish your project. On 8/31/22 My wife and I met with ***********************, the owner of Top Notch Construction, and contracted with him to build our 16 x 17 Sunroom for a total of $26,700.00. The project was supposed to begin no later than 11/19/22 and be completed by 12/10/22. We supplied all the new windows, patio door and transom, skylights, tile flooring, a ceiling fan, concrete slab, and two ridge beams. He had $26,700.00 to build the frame and roof, drywall with insulation, install the windows, patio door, and floor. So he had plenty of money to build it out and make a pretty good profit. What actually happened is, he never did not put his name on the building permit (We found this out thru the inspector from the ****************) Then, once he received over $21,000.00 of the $26,700.00 Leaving only $5700.00, on May 16, 2023 (6 months after the promised completion date of Dec. 10, 2022), he told us he is walking away from the project leaving my wife and I to find people to finish the sunroom on our own, and at our expense. It costs us $21,434.00 above and beyond the $5700.00 balance to get the job finished and took until September 27, 2023 to get our final inspection and Certification of completion so we could move into it. That means because of this dishonest company the actual Cost to build our new sun room turned out to be a whopping $48,134.00 and it took almost one year along with a significant amount of stress and disappointment to get it done. Naturally, we are furious. You've been warned!

  Would give zero stars, but a one star is the lowest option. Spoke with Top Notch Construction on August 26th, 2022 and sent a Zelle payment to order a replacement window. ****** advised me the window would take 6-8 weeks due to it being a custom window. On October 4th, 2022 I notified Top Notch Construction I was selling this house and was assured there would be no issues. They asked for my buyer's info so they could communicate directly with them about the window. I have made so many follow *** between then and now. The buyer of this house STILL DOES NOT HAVE THE WINDOW! The buyer has been told by ****** that he has no idea who the buyer is. ****** told me today the window has been sitting in a warehouse with my name on it. Why hasn't he called me??****** is rude and unreliable. I don't feel confident this window will ever be installed OR that I will get a refund. Definitely DO NOT recommend hiring this company!

  I wouldnt give him any stars at all. Hes a thief and all he does is make promises he can never make a reality because hes too busy taking $ from people. Do not trust ******. We waited over a year for our front porch to get done and took a deposit really fast but only did the foundation and walked out on us. Promised to return deposit and never did!

  Top Notch Construction: The owner of the company took a down payment from ** in the amount of $2600 for windows and patio door replacement. Months went by in which he kept telling us our order was not delivered. Finally, he agreed to cancel the order and refund our deposit. In multiple phone calls he assured us he would return our money. Several months have past and we never received our deposit backNot one *****! If we could rate this company 0 stars we would do that. We dont expect our money back at this point, but we want to protect others from similar mistreatment.

  We are super exhausted following up with this company from day 1 of our project started. I totally agree, he is liar and gives lot of stress thru out the process. It took him months to even start the work and then we had to call so many times to keep the work going. He will keep saying, he will return the call but will never return calls. Today, we finally hired someone else to get the remaining work done and it seems Top Notch guy didn't follow the construction code properly and we will have to get some re-work done now. I will never work with this company again.

  Top Notch Construction is no longer in business, as far as I can tell. There is someone else answering their business phone, their e-mail address has been shut down. ****** has not completed work that has been paid for in advance and is elusive when asked when work will resume. . He started work on our patio in October of 2022 and still has not completed agree upon scope. We are out money we paid him in advance and have had to hire another contractor to complete the project. He has other businesses with different names. Please do a thorough review before hiring any contractors. Would not wish our terrible experience on anyone.

  ****** at Top Notch Construction is a CON MAN! Stay away. His work is less than below average, he is a liar, he takes your money without fulfilling his obligation. He has no money to complete his work and his tradesmen walk off the jobs because they arent paid. This man should not be in business. He has hurt not only my family but others. Furthermore, we had to hire another Contractor to complete every aspect of the job. This project has cost a fortune. Very Upset!!
