The mechanics did a great job; however I found the service department to be shady and non-responsive.1) I had several items worked at the **************, one being a Generator fuel pump. They initially stated it was covered under a warranty but after install stated that is was not costing me several thousand dollars out of pocket.2) After removing several frivolous charges that I challenged, they stated they would give back 2 hrs labor and reduce the labor rate "across the board". They later stated that "across the board" only applied to the fuel pump and not the entire invoice - you can decide how you would interpret their misleading comment which I see as a straight up lie. 3) After a minimum of 8 calls and no return calls, I have yet to receive reimbursement for the 2 hrs labor. I have spoken to the ** and highest level of their ******************* Personally, I believe they exercise a policy of frustrating the customer until they give up. I wouldn't take a child's bike to them. As of this writing and several months attempting resolve. I still have no remedy. Perhaps the worst leadership I have ever witnessed at a company. Lies, deception and stonewalling.I thought the mechanic good to his credit. 3)

There are no words for this place. I paid over $70k for a camper and had some minor issues, brought it there to be repaired FIVE times now. They have ruined my camper I’ve had less than 2 years. I honestly think they need to start a company wide drug and alcohol screening because there is absolutely no way a sober person keeps fixing my camper. They have broken multiple things without telling us so when I get it back I find something else broke they charged my insurance over 12k already. I had the track on my kitchen fixed and ever since they touched the kitchen slide it leaks water when it rains and my underbelly keeps filling up with water. They have given so many excuses even said they fixed it in a day last time and today with the storm not even a FOUR DAYS later my slide is still leaking and my under belly is filling up with water. Save your time, money and stress and avoid this place all together.

Our service department spoke with Mrs ****** and explained to her that during the storm our new campers with the same slide she has, had some water coming in them. They are not designed to withstand rain coming in a sideways direction with 2 plus MPH winds.

The response should read 20 plus MPH winds not 2

Okay, how is that the case when we work on the road and know over 50people with campers old and new and they have NEVER had an issue. Y’all have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m tired of getting jerked around by a huge company when the bottom line is they are stealing money from my insurance not a single person I know has had their camper in the shop 6 times in less than 5months so make that public. I have had this camper for a year and a half with so much worse weather in a variety of states and again never had an issue until I brought it there to be fixed Multiple times now. Nobody wants to take responsibility for their actions but to mess with someone’s life, time, job and inconvenience me to have to go out in a storm and put a tarp over my camper in the cold and dark while I’m expecting a child because they have ruined my camper which is also my home is unacceptable. Bottom line.

We bought a 34 ft RV there in 2022 for $42,500. As of today 10/29/23 payoff is $36,400. We asked Camping World to buy it back from us. The quote they gave was $18,500. That is a loss of $24,000! I understand some loss of value is normal, but not $24,000. We spoke to Camping World, then their Consignment department, then their Customer Service asking for an explanation. The best explanation they gave us was that we were severely overcharged. Other RV companies have told us th same. Buyer beware, do not fall for the same scam we did. We are now unable to stuck with the RV and it's payment. I would love to resolve this by having Camper World buy back our RV for at least $34,000.

Campers are a depreciating asset. Some models, just like automobiles go down in value faster than others. The market determines the value of assets not dealers. I would suggest trying to sell the unit private party or try another another camper/rv dealer.

Thank you for your response. When we bought the used RV from Ryan we told him we would be selling it back after our house was built. He said the most it would depreciate would be $3k-5k. A depreciation of $24k in 15 months is 100% unacceptable and unheard of in any business or market. The only explanation is that the used RV was over priced. We paid $42,500 for a used 2019 RV, 34 ft long with 2 slide outs. We feel Ryan lied to us about the fair market value of the RV and it's resale value. The fair thing for any business to do in this situation would be to buy back our RV for a fair price. We've spoke to numerous other RV company salesmen who say the same. They all also say we were severely over charged by Camping World. It makes me think Ryan just told me what I wanted to hear to make a sale, which was not the truth. I never imagined he was lying to us. Trust is a very important thing in sales . I look forward to your response.
