From the time l bought the truck my sunroof/ moonroof leaked and l thought it would stop but it eventually started pouring water as l moved my job from the *******/ ***** area to the East coast ( running up and down 95 ***** ). I stay 2 to 3 months at a time on the road be4 l go home. I informed the dealership about the sunroof and they told me to get an auto glass repair technician to put some *** or reseal it but l told them l wasn't gonna let anyone besides them temper with anything on my truck besides a ***** dealership. I also informed *******/ ***** from Sales about the leak and send him pics and he told me he was gonna get back with me in 2 days but he didn't , l reminded him about my issue but got no response. Unfortunately the engine started leaking and scheduled an oil change , PM and sunroof leak repair appointment. Looks like someone changed the original seal on my sunroof with an aftermarket seal coz it surely looked different from ALL the sunroof seals you see on similar trucks ( not 1 seal looked like mine ). My seal was thicker than all other seals and had a 1 to 2 inch gap at the bottom which other seals didn't have. Now my truck has 182 516 miles and they are pulling down the transmission to see where it is leaking at the rear main seal and l understand it will be ready sometime next week . My complaint now is they are asking me to pay $1000 plus to replace the sunroof seal which they know had an issue with from manufacturer & tried to fix with an aftermarket seal fix which failed to fix the problem the truck had. I paid $212 000 cash for this truck and they are wanting me to continue to pay more to fix something that shouldn't have been that way from the manufacturer. I asked them to keep the old parts they are taking off for me coz they definitely don't look like what's supposed to be on that truck.
