      Brought vehicle to have oil cooler replaced and the wrong oil cooler got replaced store management will not take responsibility for it stated it was my fought for not telling him the correct one that needed to be replaced. Even though Im not a mechanic and brought to the them for diagnosis. Now the truck has stopped working and is at a dealership to be looked at tomorrow.

      The customer presented their vehicle to our repair center on 2/14/2024 stating they had brought their vehicle in to a dealership who diagnosed a check engine light concern. They requested that we install an engine oil cooler based on the dealerships diagnosis and findings and declined any diagnosis from our repair center. The vehicle is equipped with multiple oil coolers, we installed the oil cooler per customer request and as recommended by the dealership without any inspection or diagnosis on our part. When the customer returned to our repair ********************** on 4/15/2024 stating the check engine light returned, we informed them that we did not diagnose the issue and therefore can not provide any guarantees that the part replaced at their request was the proper repair needed to address the issue. We did recommend that they bring the vehicle to one of our other locations which has a diesel technician on staff to properly diagnose the problem. The customer was informed prior to any work being performed that we were installing a part at their request, without any proper diagnosis, and therefore could not properly guarantee the repairs performed would correctly address their issue. However, in the interest of customer **********************, we can offer a goodwill adjustment for the full amount of the repairs as a courtesy in the amount of $888.09 (see attached invoice).

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However the store did do a free diagnostic and Im not satisfied with them stating we declined it. Please mail check to ********************* at the address you have on file ****************
