    I pushed a 14k gold bracelet 20 grams on 5/19 in ** @ Levittown exchange its a jeweler my family and I have been doing business with for over 22 years. We trust him however I felt that I needed 1/8 more room around my wrist since I suffer with RA . I dropped the bracelet off on Saturday 5/25 and discussed every opinion with Amad the owner, he suggested that I leave it and bring in old gold that I might have at home. So I gave him my bracelet and a 10k 7 bracelet to use to add my extension, I felt worried because he instructed me Not to document anything about the bracelet on his invoice he stated Just a name will do. Returned again on Tuesday 5/28 and insisted on seeing the bracelet since it still wasnt Ready. He had it in his hand wouldnt allow me to touch it but believe you I had inspected that bracelet on 5/19 in ** BEFORE PAYING $1,600. , came back to JR ******* at 7:30 pm that day and notice that my bracelet was lighter, the seven links were thinner and able to bend and I explained to the store owner that This Bracelet was tampered with. He refused to weigh it especially since it was so light weight and at least this would have eased my mind. I conveniently left the store went to the end of the mall to another jewelry store call Hemberg and weighted the bracelet and it was only 16.8 grams a STRONG INDICATION THAT THIS BRACELET WAS ******** WITH ESPECIALLY SINCE ALL OF MY LINKS HAD 14k engraved on it!!!!!!

    Hi! Ms ********* brought the bracelet into the store to fix it, she wanted me to make it longer for her which i refused and explained to her that it wouldnt look the same since we didnt had the same link to match at the moment. She stated that the bracelet had sentimental value to her, that she wanted to use it and insisted on us fixing the bracelet, I agreed on doing it since it was just approximately 1/4 inch that had to be add. Going from there, I explain her the store works on this kind of repairs only during weekdays and that she could be back on Tuesday to pick it up. She asked about the price and I told her money wasnt a problem and since it had sentimental value I would try to help her and i suggested if she bring her own gold I would not charge her for the additional gold. She brought the gold, I made the link and fixed the bracelet. She came to pick it up, tried it on, she said that it fitted her, she was really happy with the work, she even gave us an earring that was fixed the same day and paid $75 fee for both fixings. Later on Ms. ********* came back to say the bracelet was changed, that it felt lighter, and that every link had 14k stamped on it. I told her that jewelry isnt made like that and showed her bracelets from the store and how gold is usually stamped (1 or 2 stamps for piece) not each link. I told her to check the weight and she had the bracelet on her hand and refused to put it on the scale. I didnt check the bracelet weight because we are adding her gold to it, weight shouldnt be a problem. I told her if she wanted to see the camera which she also refused to. I told her if I changed all the links she could see the damage on it which wasnt the case.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    He is a liar and it seems to me when you repair anyones $1,600 bracelet You Should Have Weighted It. He didnt ****** it because He knew he was going to Rip me off. When I returned to his store once I realized that the bracelet was tampered with JR ********************** STILL REFUSE TO WEIGHT IT!!! ********** was also aware as per myself that I Just had it weighed by the other Jewerly store in the mall!!! And it doesnt match the weight that the bracelet was At The Time Of purchase And This Can Be Verified!!!!!

     I also know that my original bracelet had 14 k on each link !!!! These people dont sell upscale jewelry!!!! Looks light it might come from there country Pakistan

    Good afternoon; in answer to Mrs ****************************** we had to say was explained on the first response to this complaint, going from there, we dont have anything to add and the store will not take any other xenophobic comments since this is not the first one we heard from Ms ******************************* nothing else to say, we apologize if you were not satisfied with the work. We stand by the fact that the bracelet was never changed and/or replaced.

    I had a J cursive pendant with a crown stolen 1 year ago and it suddenly appeared in Jr. ******* 1 year ago in September. I have going through the process of getting it back Ive made 2 police reports I talked to someone from the business in getting it replace or remade because the last time I went they sold it even an employee confirmed when I showed mines his words were yeah its the same now that I told them it was stolen they tried to cover there tracking making smaller remakes but I didnt inform him that I knew he was lying cause it was the only pendant in there like that up until the day I said it was stolen property.
