    I paid the initial money for my CPAP machine and set up an auto draft with them when I picked up the device. They never drafted my account after the initial payment in-office. I started getting emails for payment. I called and they said I didn't set up auto draft even though I had the contract copy. Set up auto draft again which took this time, but I keep getting past due notices even though I have paid my entire bill off using their auto-pay. I emailed them my payment history to show and just got another email threatening to turn me over to collections. How do I get them to stop?

    WORST COMPANY EVER!!Desperately need my CPAP resupplied and they won't pick up the phone or call back! It's gone on so long there is MOLD in the joints of my mask and tubing that can't be scrubbed out and all I can do is to try to make do. It's really horrific. As far as I know they are only game in town my doctor was able to direct me to and I am going to end ** in the hospital because I cannot fall asleep without my mask, my blood oxygen falls below 50% which is terrifying. Because of this company I have two choices: Wake up choking multiple times throughout the night unable to breathe OR inhale mold and spores that make my lungs itch, congest, and cough all night.

    I was hesitant to go to this company for my cpap needs because of these reviews but figured my doctor raved about them so they cant be bad. While there i was very pleased with my services. I asked my technician how many patients that had there, he showed me my patient number and I was shocked at how many patients they have...literally over 68k so the fact that they have a few mistakes out of that many people and looks as if from a 3rd party billing service, ehhh, I'm good with that. Everyone at this company, thus far is amazing. everyone is so friendly. Even when I was there waiting for my appointment, a lady came in and begged to come back to them. She was even saying, I know you're out of network with my insurance but ill pay what I have to in order to come back. If this company has people begging to be back and they are all treated the way I was treated, i I think they need more than 5 stars. It is so easy to complain but people don't get credit where it is deserved, and Carolinas Hometown Respiratory, well they seem to deserve it. Thank you for all your help and kindness, **********

    Is there a 1/4 star???? I got a CPAP machine in November of 2022 and I put down $317 for my portion of the purchase of the machine. I was later told by ******** Hometown Respiratory that insurance required the machine be rented for four months and be used 70% of that time in order for insurance to pay. So be it. I asked for the $317 to be refunded, but it never was. After 2 months I was billed... not rental, but billed. WTH? After making numerous call over several days I finally got through and was given some lame excuse as to why I was charged. Overall, and many phone calls trying to clear this up it is now June 30, 2023, and this issue has still not resolved. Recently, they say the last month of rental is tied up in insurance. I've made many calls over the months, some unanswered even after being forced to leave voicemails. Too many people pass the buck, items are not billed to the insurance company in a timely manner to be settled on par with life. The $317.00 has now dwindled to $218, which I was just told today was used for the for the third month rental, but yet I didn't pay for the 1st or 2nd month rental. Deductible perhaps. They can't tell me. Why? They say the 4th month is tied up with insurance. But the insurance company has not received a claim from them since 2-24-2023. I feel the staff I speak with, when I can get through, do their best. Its the managers and/or supervisors who appear to be dropping the ball. Return calls are made days later than told, and then they leave a message and don't call back to make contact. Calling them back goes into the endless cycle of being forced to leave a message. It's just a messy system/process/procedure they utilize. I really wanted to patronize a small business, but this is beyond ridiculous. Gonna try CPAP.com!!

    Received a bill without detail 11 months after the supposed service. I mailed the bill requesting clarification on what the charges were and were they billed? I did this three times without any response to the query. ********** HomeTown Respiratory just keeps sending bills with late fees. Black Hole for info.
