    Unless you desire surprise fees, beware! I was not planning to leave this review until the owner of ********* Leak Detection company called me on a Sunday (12/29), raised his voice, and scolded me for questioning an unexpected $189 fee added to the original $449 leak detection service. The fee was disclosed only after the job had begun on 12/27/24, leaving me no choice but to approve it or waste the initial $449 payment.During the call on Sunday where he took a very unprofessional tone and raised his voice, the owner justified the fee as a "cold water fee" for using a $9,000 dry suit, claiming it's only charged during colder months. As a year-round pool service company, they should disclose such seasonal charges upfront, rather than surprising customers mid-service. A transparent pricing structuree.g., "$449 standard, $638 during cold months"would be fairer and build trust. Instead, he gets personal, asking me "what do you do for a living?!?!" He ended up texting me after his rude phone call apologizing, but that should've never happened. From owner to line level agent, you don't call a paying customer on a Sunday to raise your voice and argue. This lack of transparency feels deceptive, and the owner's unprofessional response to my feedback only reinforced my dissatisfaction. Businesses should prioritize honesty, clear communication, and respectful customer interactions. Unfortunately, this company failed on all fronts. I would not recommend working with them, surprise fees are the worst fees. I have the images of the text message he sent, the bill showing the $189 'dive fee' as proof, the proof of payment of the invoice, and a screen shot from his ******** where he posted an image of him using the '$9,000 dive suit' at another customer's pool....did he tell them in advance or did they get 'surprised' with a 43% higher bill ($449 service fee, plus $189 dive fee).

    They botched our repair and did not honor warranty, do not pay until you are sure you have been fixed. They will not return our calls even though their own staff reported to me that they botched our leak and should fix it.
