B2B BEWARE!!! Rite Lite produced wayfinding signs in our local town. When one of the signs became defective, they requested our help in removing the sign, crating, they arranged shipping from our business back to them. When they shipped the replacement sign {using a ONE STAR shipping company} that we were to install it arrived damaged. We notified them as soon as damages were found and they opened a claim with the shipping company, which the claim was denied. ********* decided they would NOT BE PAYING for removal of the original sign nor crating as they weren't being reimbursed from the damaged SECOND sign from the shipping company. Also, the signature on the "Clean Bill" from the shipping company wasn't a signature from anyone at our company! Extremely disappointing...

This dispute if over $600. Here are the facts without emotion. ****** did in fact take a sign down for us and ship to ******* **. We fixed the sign and shipped back. The fixed sign was received at Ottway Signs on 6/27/22. The signed bill of lading did not make note of any damage. Two days later ****** stated the sign was damaged. The damaged pictures were taken on 6/29/22 around 2:00 pm. We filed a claim with the carrier. The claim was denied because the delivery receipt was signed two days before the pictures were taken. The carrier supplier a signed copy of the delivery receipt that made no references to damage. We had to remake the $18,000 sign and install ourselves.
