  Wish there was no stars. Seemed too good to be true as I finally had someone that kept their word. Came out gave me an estimate, signed contract same day May 10th 2023 and gave him a deposit, check cashed May 12th 2023. Job was supposed to start July 10th 2023 had called and text prior to start date to make sure it was still a go so I could let my electrician know and get area cleaned up. No answer. Owner *** Had stopped communication May 25th after I noticed ******** page has been removed hacked or so he says. Also claims accredited by BBB in which thats not so either. After the communication was cut with no replies I started looking more into this business and come to find out Im not the only one. I have lost all hope in finding someone trustworthy to do my project for me, trust no one and do your research!

  The owner of Handyman Creations, finally came to our home upon numerous request (should have been a clue right there). And gave us an estimate on fixing our front deck which had been built with very poor workmanship and possibly build us a back deck after completion of front. He said that he could rebuild the front for $7,000. and that we should give him $1750. to get us on the schedule for ********* in which we did. Never heard from him again until we contacted him May 26th and it took numerous times and we told him that we had changed our minds about the front and just to give us an estimate on doing the back deck. He finally got over on June 9th and gave us an estimate of $9500. in which we agreed. He said he would start on it soon and to give him another $3000. to start soon after he finished up these 2 jobs. Here it is in July and never heard from him. We started to worry because we had no contract and we didn't want to give him anymore money until we got one. And he failed to return any of our communications. We started to think that he was just sitting on the money we had given him and never intended to do the work. When we voiced our concerns in a text message, he never called or text back to resolve our issues. His lack of communication prompted us to ask him to please give us back our money and we will get someone else. Then we get a letter from his attorney saying we can no longer contact him and the attorney will review the contract(s), which there never was any contract. So I don't know what he is going to review. All we want is our money back as he has never even tried to clear this matter up.I would not recommend hiring this company at all. We stopped by at another house we saw his work trailer at and they were having the same problem as us. He seems to have a big problem with communicating with his clients. I see on other reviews also. How do you run a business like that?

  *** did not back up his work. He built me a shed and the front door would not close properly. It would just pop open even when locked. He came and worked on it twice and did not fix the problem. Then he refused to answer texts or calls. I had to hire another person to fix the door and that person identified the problem and fixed it. He also identified a problem with the roof and I spent more money having that fixed. *** assured me that he always backed his work and he certainly did not do that.

  If I could give him less than a 1 I would. He was to replace some siding on my sisters house. Less than a week later the siding fell off. And the workmanship of the posts he covered was terrible. He would not come back a fix the work. And he blocked me on ******** after several attempts to ask him to come back. DO NOT USE THEM!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

  I would have given negative stars or none at all but it made me pick one! Would never hire this company. Signed contract last June 2022, work was to be completed before November. . We were told everything was good and paid him in February. we found out right after that our front deck failed code inspection. We contacted *** and he said they would be back out to fix it. It is now April and we have yet to see him back at our home and he keeps giving us days he is coming and does not show back up. He obviously has no clue on building a deck as per the code inspector it is completely wrong and not to mention it looks like toddlers work!

  Came to my house in a timely manner and even though it was very early in the morning he was quiet while my family was sleeping and done a fantastic service and job! I am extremely happy with this contractor and will be using him and his team in the future. Thanks again for all the hard work!
